Not sure if you've seen this, but Chris Pratt and Charlie Day (Mario and Luigi's voice actors respectively) were asked a series of questions about The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. They either pressed the shell button for no, or the ? block button for yes.
And one question they were asked was whether Wario or Waluigi make an appearance. Their response?
To push both buttons at once. So, yes and no:
So, does this mean Wario might appear in the film? Because I've got three theories here:
1. They push the buttons because Wario does appear, while Waluigi does not
2. They both appear, but Nintendo and Illumination want to keep it ambiguous
3. Neither appear, but see above
Personally I'm going with option 1, possibly as a post credits scene.
But what do you think?
