I think 'gaming disease' is a bad idea.

It seems like the radical left has hijacked yet another innocent item and turned it into their personal weapon to attack anyone who does not comfirm to their views. Even a goddamn milkshake isn't innocent anymore, thanks to these semi-terrorists.
Hes upset cuz a right wing comedian called him a "lispy queer", but the man has referred to himself as queer, and his twitter name is even " gaywonk".
He made a big deal about a shirt the comedian sells that says "socialism is for figs", and yes we all clearly know what figs is referring to. But the focus is on socialism, and not homosexuals, which is why they used the word " figs".
The comedian has had several gay right wing and also gay left wing people on his show, he doesnt actually have any problems with the homosexual community. Hes just an edgy comedian. This guy is starting all of this as a personal vendetta against the comedian cuz the comedian often critiques his videos.
Family guy has done countless jokes aimed at homosexuality. While I dony enjoy that kind of humor myself, the jokes themselves are not inherently hate speech. Its edgy comedy, and this man is only using these jokes, out of all the edgy jokes about every other topic the comedian makes, as a way to attack a comedian he has a personal issue with.

I think they should, however, have put more thought into how others may perceive his words.
Hes openly stated that he has nothing against homosexual peoole. His former engineer went by the moniker "not-gay" because he had a gay friend with the same name, making his engineer the one needing the nickname. He has even openly stated that he believes that homosexuality is not a choice, where family guy once suggested that kids grow up to be gay cuz muscle-y action figures. Hes currently being supported by several gay voices likes dave rubin and chad feelix greene.
Hes an edgy comic that makes fun of everything and everyone. This guy that has a problem with him does so because this comedian responds to his videos, because they have different politics. Its without any doubt that this vox guy is merely using these edgy jokes as a way to get back at him and eliminate competition. Even some left wing people are speaking out against it.
Im not arguing in defense of these jokes btw. Im not into super edgy borderline offensive jokes for the most part. But this whole thing started over the vox guy trying to get everyone riled up over bad jokes in order to get this comedian off youtube, because this comedian is known for challenging his videos.

I must admit, Family Guy isn't my barometer for morality, but Seth MacFarlane is a fierce advocate for gay rights; the issue is complex, and I'm not suggesting the topic is off-limits for comedy. That said, to me it's indefensible to revile a person for their inherent traits because you disagree with their social/political beliefs. I have no stake in whether YouTube allows these types of videos to be monetized, but it takes five seconds to see this went beyond one mere offhand joke; the dude made countless homophobic remarks across multiple videos that weren't even jokes--they were jabs often based off of gay stereotypes. It would be willfully ignorant for me to disregard that.
