How does Wario lose to Mario/ always stops his schemes

i mean, wario has done some amazing and powerful stuff:
  • Hypnosis
  • build a time machine... A TIME MACHINE
  • lifts a dinosaur
  • saved the WHOLE WORLD from an evil clown
  • used his enemys attacks as power-up's
  • destructive farts
  • drove aeroplanes, cars and a bike
  • made MILLIONS of micro-games/set up his own company
  • has transported into a T.V
  • has a stronger version by eating rotten garlic
and thats only a little bit of it

Mario has some pretty good feats too you know.

  • In Mario world He was able to Lift and boost a castle and break another by jumping on it.
  • In Super Mario 64 he lifts and throws enemies who are notably bigger than him the most obvious one is Bowser.
  • Knocked Meteorites out of weak orbit and used them against Bowser in galaxy.
  • Mario can shapeshift as proven in Mario RPG
  • Mario made his own time machine as well.
  • He saved the whole UNIVERSE by making sure bowser didn't take over it.
  • Mario can also get stronger by using star-man.
Mario's pretty strong too and probably smarter when it comes to fighting.

Well, he always wins his own battles, in his games.

Seems like the general rule is that the most 'evil' figure in the game will always lose.

If I recall, they've only fought head-to-head once, in Super Mario Land 2. It's too small of a sample size to determine who wins the matchup. In Wario Land, Mario had a helicopter and took the statue without having to deal with Wario. In Mario & Wario, he defeated Wario while they were flying airplanes. I'm sure Wario could beat Mario in a straight fight, but Mario outfought him that time.

We're talking about the same Mario who beats up bowser, right? THE ONE TWICE WARIOS SIZE. I'm Pretty sure Mario won't have too much of a hard time with Wario. Mario can throw around Bowser in Mario 64. Go against the odds.

Just because Mario isn't as big and strong looking as Wario doesn't mean Mario will lose a fight.

Wario might have picked up things way bigger than Bowser,
but Mario picked up a castle and throw it off the screen.

Wario has a quite of strengh in Super Smash, he is more powered than Mario and better recovery he could easily wreck him in 1 on 1 fight, even if you compare Wario World with Super Mario 64 fighting style you can see that the results are obvious.

Mario lifted and thrown a castle with relative ease, stomped a castle to the ground. Lifts Bowser and throws him around.

He's saved the Galaxy... twice in the main canon. In the SMRPG canon, he and his friends (and one foe) defeated Smithy, and his whole army, who were hellbent on taking over the Mushroom Kingdom. He and his party defeated a very VERY powerful demon who was only sealed 1000 years ago. And saved multiple dimensions from total annihilation by a complete psycho in the Paper Mario canon. He and his brother saved the Bean Bean Kingdom from Cackletta. Stopped an alien invasion. Defeated a different dark entity, and crazed psychopath from taking over the world (with help from Bowser) in the Mario and Luigi series.

Wario may be tech smart, but he's also pretty lazy. He prefers to brute force his problems, n' Mario prefers to leap circles over them. Now Wario Land's different, since Syrup (Who usually relies on tricking him) always resorts to some giant mech/genie in the end. And Wario wins, cause in a test of brute strength, he's strongest.

Mario did all that stuff thanks to the power-ups, he's quite of underpowered since Donkey Kong, all he can count is on his jumping skills, he and his brother needs to gain habilities by learning from far powerful creatures or making them friends and Bowser always go berserk without reasoning, no wonder why he instals very obvious traps. Wario can easily wreck stuff by default, he rarely uses power-ups and always count on cartoon gags (he exploits his enemies attacks).
