Is Booster Wario's dad?

Seriously. The thoughts I have at 2 in the morning.

But if we look at Booster from Super Mario RPG, he really does resemble Wario. Big fat man, crazy facial hair, never closes his mouth, has a big rosy red/pink nose, affinity for wearing hats with goggles on them, acts immature, filthy stinkin' rich. Honestly, they have quite a few similarities. Perhaps the reason Booster cares so much about Marrymore and getting a bride is because he had a child with a woman who ended up leaving?

I dunno. If you guys can find anything else to back this up, let me know.

The resemblance is uncanny. Even as a kid in 1996 I saw it. I wonder if there's any sort of story behind why he looks so much like Wario? Was the character intended to actually be Wario, but changed at the last minute? I doubt it, but it would make complete sense to me given the design.

as far as the "lore" goes, an explanation like this seems the most likely:

Wario would undoubtedly hate Booster.

I still don't think Wario and Waluigi are brothers.

But if they WERE brothers, pretty sure the mom is the witch from Wario Land.

I've seen this discussion before, and I think there is indeed some resemblance between those two intended. But saying he is Wario's father? I dunno. But it's not imposssible.
