Is Donkey Kong Bananza a good base for a potential Wario World Sequel?

Because to me, Bananza just feels so much like a 3D Wario platformer. You've got a massively strong main character with a wide array of combat moves inspired by pro wrestling, destructable terrain everywhere that you can smash through to make shortcuts and reach secret areas, and there are crazy transformations that can be activated to give you fancy new powers and abilities.

Honestly, if you replaced DK with Wario and the DK elements with Wario elements, you could probably make a pretty good Wario World style mod for the game without too many issues whatsoever.

So, does anyone wish Nintendo would do this sort of thing officially with the new Wario platformer? Take the Super Mario Odyssey and Donkey Kong Bananza formula, swap out the plot and locations for wackier ones more fitting of the Wario Land series, and make it Wario's next big game instead?

I think it'd work super well to be honest!

As long as it's got Wario World's style of weird and crudeness, I'm 100% on board! I've never played Bananza, but from some of the clips I've seen, it looks like an incredibly fun game.

I hope they get the bright idea of making a Wario game in this style! Especially involving treasure and mining with it too, because Wario is all about that treasure shit. Also in agreeance with Hotel Horror, an ugly style would be awesome to see again. Imagine something as hideous as Catbat with the look of today's graphics. :catbat:

I would lose my shit if they brought Catbat back! Him and Spoiled Rotten were my favourites! Seeing either one of them in a 3D/Wario World type game would be nuts!

Before I played Bananza, I was only interested in a new 2D/Wario Land entry. Now after finishing Bananza two days ago, I want to see this team at Nintendo give Wario a 3D game with this amount of depth and care.

I didn't play Bananza so I'm not really sure. And I haven't seen enough gameplay to make me wanna play it. Personally, I'd rather a Wario Land game but I'll take what I can have as long as it's good.
