I think the suprise Starfox game worked best because of the Mario Galaxy movie. Fox was still fresh in everyone's heads, so now was the smartest time to push out a new game.

well damn, no wario news this direct. though now that i think about it, the fact that the leaker couldn't even confirm that it's a land game or not makes me think it's in pretty early stage of development. well as long as it's in the works!
