This was my favorite part of E3

I liked some parts. Banjo in Smash, Breath of the Wild sequel, some of the Luigi's Mansion 3 and Link's Awakening stuff.

A lot of the rest was kinda meh. Here's hoping for a Wario game in the Treehouse coverage.

Has Treehouse ever covered something as huge as "unveiling a game that wasn't in the Direct", though?

The last original WarioWare title that was a full-blooded original (not a "spiritual successor" or a compilation game) came out in 2010,
and the last Wario Land came out almost 11 goddamn years ago. I hate being realistic with my expectations, but Jesus Christ.

Didn't really see much that excited me.
Banjo and Dragon Quest were obvious at this point.

But that Bowser joke rocked.

No matter how obvious Dragon Quest was i was so damn happy to see that. I'm almost as happy as Juan would've been if they unveiled Shantae.

Also I wasn't sold on AC New Horizons belut after thinking about it it would be cool to create your town from scratch as the next step up to being mayor in New Leaf.

And after all these years Seiken Densetsu 3 has a western title and a small part of my heart has been filled

I have a bunch of other thoughts to share but it'll devolve into me blowing Nintendo way harder than is necessary

I'm very pleased.

Seriously nice to see Banjo Kazooie finally make it in Smash and BoTW 2 is exciting news (Also Zelda looks great with short hair) Everything else for the most part is also shaping up and looking great and I'm definitely interested in more then a few of the titles shown here (Also that Bowser joke was cute).

However, I'll be lying if I wasn't a slight bit disappointed at the lack of brand new unannounced titles from Nintendo (Outside of BoTW 2) as well as the lack of Bayonetta 3 news and of course, Wario news, overall though, this was a very good conference from Nintendo and I'm pleased with it.

I thought it was solid. It didn't have too much filler, and while there weren't many exciting announcements, it was packed with new insights. I'm much more excited about Luigi's Mansion 3 now that I've seen more of the game, and of course the surprise Breath of the Wild sequel was a strong way to end the Direct. Wish we had seen more of Animal Crossing (even the Treehouse live yesterday didn't show much), but I don't mind the delay.

The most important thing is that we got a look at Wario's bare feet in Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

and that was the day that Metal was doomed to eventual erectile dysfunction

Man, Luigi's Mansion getting a threequel meanwhile its sister title Wario World is-a stuck on the GameCube.

Hah, the Wario World point is a good one. Does make you wonder how things would be if Wario World became the breakout GameCube hit after a surprise sequel. Or hell, if Wario Land Shake It had sold New Super Mario Bros Wii/Donkey Kong Country Returns levels of copies.

Still, as someone who's also a fan of Luigi's Mansion, I'm glad to see it become so successful. It always had such a unique gameplay style and atmosphere, and the fact we're now on game 3 (plus a remake and an arcade title) is incredible. Oh, and 3 is apparently a mix of the best bits of 1 and 2, with portrait ghost type ghost characters and free exploration, so that's nice.
