Super Mario Brox X (1.4)

Yikes Spike

Not related with Wreck it Ralph.
Guys, this is real:

Does that mean we could share episodes on this forum?

And another thing:

Don't get excited, I don't know how to sprite and this is the best I could do:

Wario replacing Toad:

toad_2_by_soldierino-da5rlg0.gif

Fire Wario (Colors based on the Virtual Boy)
toad_3_by_soldierino-da5rlfk.gif

Magic Cape Wario (I was affriad that if I make him racoon, he could be more inconsistent and his body getting cut)
toad_4_by_soldierino-da5rlfe.gif

Same reason as above (But I remember seeing official artwork of Mario 64DS of him wearing the winged cape)
toad_5_by_soldierino-da5rlf2.gif

Boomerang Wario (His attire is based on the sniper from tf2)
toad_6_by_soldierino-da5rleo.gif

Ice Wario (I ran out of ideas)
toad_7_by_soldierino-da5rle9.gif

Waluigi replacing Peach:

Let me know if you want a link for the full pack including shadows and something extra.

Holy crap that's a lot of pictures!

Seriously though, there are tons of Wario Land SMBX resources. Like these:

Some other Wario GFX here:

Lots of Wario Land 4 GFX here:

Either way, yes you can post episodes here, though they should have a decent amount of Wario related content in them.

The game can be easily installed, just watch:

Apologies for not providing a free ad link.

I did some tests, and here are my opinions:

Cons:
  • Sprites no longer need shadows
  • Level editor is faster when loading
  • Wario & Waluigi had no problem when hexing, the measures wheren't changed.

Pros:
  • The sprites must be png and transparent.
  • I have to remake the sprite sheets so they could look cleaner, plus powerups (I need your help in this one)
  • Small glitches, when crouching with the tanooki suit, the sprite cut across the floor when triggering the stone effect.
That's pretty much I had to report, yet. I can't believe they made an 1.4 version, when Redigit left I considered the game dead, but as usual, the unexpected always happen.

That looks nice! I've never used this program, though, and am not interested in it either. It is interesting to know it got an update, though!

It's been worked on by people from the Talkhaus (raocow's forum) and from the SuperMarioBrosX.org forums. It's basically become a community project now.

I think you mixed up the pros and cons

Wow, so many pictures. The Wario sprites aren't too shabby, but the Waluigi sprites are missing one crucial detail... Waluigi is always hunched. It's kind of awkward when some of his sprites are not (and it's difficult to compare because he's never had 8-bit or 16-bit sprites).

I actually made sprite sheets a while back to fit the 16-bit style -- not sure if they can be used for SMBX though:

http://www.mfgg.net/index.php?act=resdb&param=02&c=1&id=25348
http://www.mfgg.net/index.php?act=resdb&param=02&c=1&id=28013

The only problem is that they aren't complete for the transformations, but most of the work is done.

Not sure if they could work on your style, don't get me wrong, you did a fine job, but they look wide and probably is going to take more editing so they won't mess the animation sheets.
