The Mario Party Series

I think it's due to the more realistic skin tones and shading that are throwing people off since they also look a bit...different to me which is something I also noticed in MP10's art. There's also the weird angle though that's only for Peach.
 
So far no sign of Boo. Weird that they'd release a Boo amiibo to coincide with this without having Boo playable.
 
It's interesting to note that the character selection screen art seems to be based on the SMW official art which is pretty neat especially Wario and Daisy, looking more " classic "

@Magma There might be a chance that Boo would become an unlockable character or at the very least hasn't been shown yet just the main characters and Toad. Especially since DK isn't on here too, would he go back to being unplayable as before.
 
Well there's only 4 slots left as of now and it's almost certainly Rosalina, Toadette, DK, and Diddy so it's just kind of weird.
 
Good point and especially seeing as the box art already depicts all four of them being in-game as is. It would be very strange to think that maybe the boo amiibo might add additional content such as new minigames if at all, though it's still just speculation.

Maybe the Boo amiibo would actually unlock him as a character? That would actually be very intresting,highly doubt it though. =/
 
Perhaps the boo amiibo could make him playable, as of now it's just still too early to tell.
