The Mario Party Series

Actually I have been looking around (doesn't have cardrige near him) and DS indeed seems to only have single card play, I could swear it wasn't like that thought then again it has been years since I last did DS multiplayer and it seems like I simply misremembered.

At least it would answer this question.

Two new artworks confirm Petey Piranha and Dry Bones to be in the game, likely as bosses:

Well it's quite obviously a placeholder. While the Ultra Smash placeholder boxart had a new render it was still equally as bland and lazy.

Man, star rush looks really weird yet it could be fun, I think I'll get it, only if it looks fun! To see that, I'll wait for Youtubers to upload their let's plays of it.

Wonder if anyone is even excited for anything mario party related let alone it being for the 3DS. After playing 9 games in the series it's safe to say there really isn't anything holding it up, just another excuse to dish out as many mario spin off games for a quick buck as possible. Personally my favorite in the entry would have been MP2,3, and 5 and up until that point things started to shift as well.

The music in some of the later games are so borish they sound more like third party game music than actual mario party or even mario music in general. Sure some of the music may sound nice but even the more up beat or high impact themes sound bland.

Really just doesn't really sound like much of anything at all, and the whole car gimmick essentially not having any turns for the other players seem confusing as well. The minigames in later games mainly 8 or 9 and above start to just be very boring as well. Like shake a can of soda the game. It still is weird to also see some of the newest games to not include online multiplayer if that even is an option or not.

Just went to Mario Party Legacy for the heck of it and they pointed something out on the E3 infosheet that I didn't notice before :

Nd Cube is not listed as the developer for the game, this seems to be an internally developed game, made by Nintendo themselves. No idea why that is or how much this is going to affect anything, but it is an interesting thing to point out.

False alarm, turns out ND Cube are developing it :

In other news the customer service lists the game having ''online interactivity'':

We have to wait and see what exactly they are reffering to, but I honestly doubt that it is online play, as much as I'd want it.

I do wonder what can we expect further down the line since with Hudson gone but Nd Cube being made up of a lot of the same guys, the series has become a lot more experimental.
