VC releases of WLII, III and 4 on sale

Nintendo recently announced it will have a sale of up to 30% on a selection of 3DS and Wii U VC titles, from Thursday, November 27 at 9 am PT to Tuesday December 2 at 8:59 am PT. Every Wario Land except the first is featured alongside modern classics such as Luigi's Masion 2.

What I'm wondering is...
If they're trying to promote Wario Land with this because they have something planned.... then why in all hell would they once again shaft the series in both Smash Bros.'s like that?

Because Sakurai, that's why.
As much as I would love for this to be a lead up to a Land announcement, I highly doubt it has something to do with that.
I certainly wouldn't mind to be proven wrong thought...

Luigi's Mansion, not Masion

I had already gotten the first three Wario Land games on VC.

I could still take advantage of the deal with 4 if I'm in a good position to do so, but who knows if that'll be? If not...well, hopefully the money I could have saved will be used to make another Wario game.
