Trying out Google's auto ads. Seems the mechanics don't work as well as Google thinks they do.

Doesn't help that this place is to obscure so there's a lack of sources to tell you whether this place is safe or not.

Okay, this is annoying as hell, but you gotta take a moment to appreciate how that 2 feet long banner replaces the entire profile posts section.

Looking at fixing these ad issues now. Already disabled a bunch of ad formats.

Also trying to block any inappropriate ads, but Google's panel for that in Adsense is down for some reason.

Ironically enough, I didn't have any issues with ads until some five mins ago.

Still, I hope things are better now. Disabled these auto ads altogether, since it was clear Google's idea of 'acceptable' differs significantly from everyone else's.

I usually get advertisements for gay manga porn on this site. And I have no freaking idea why btw. I do NOT look up porn at all ever. I dont know why google thinks Id be interested in this.

The thing with that is that pretty much no one uses the forums for just hanging out. The only people who really use it for that purpose I imagine are those who aren't on the Discord server. The spike in activity following the announcement of WarioWare Gold pretty much just shows that.

They dont anymore, but they used to. Is not umcommon for an online community to die out after a while.

i get that too tons of yaoi, Its annoying as hell since that's not what i like. Keep the risque ads for something that ISN'T a Nintendo related site.

It was a one time thing and adsense just HAD to cherry pick.
