Work

I see. Have only ever had a few retail jobs, one of them was vendor work, and the place I work now doesnt have a produce section : p That doesnt sound like a bad job, though.

I did once work in a meat department, but I didnt last there long : p

Nope, we literally just get a truck filled with thousands of boxes all piled up on top of each other mixed in with some furniture : p The person in the truck throws every box down the rail, a guy on the corner catches them and sends them down the rail, a guy in the furniture warehouse keeps them moving down the rails into the freight warehouse, and then two people there stay on each sides of the rail and take the boxes that go on the pallets on their sides. It generally takes us about 4 hours to do, depending on how much they sent us, and how they set up the truck, weather conditions, ect. Its a hard job : p We dont keep many people because of it.

Sometimes well get pallets that are pre-made. But its usually water pallets or soil pallets, which are very heavy and take many people to get into the warehouse : p Those are never fun : p

Oh, duh. As in getting the products made at your factory, we might. Were a buy-out store, our company makes deals with retail chains to buy the stuff they couldnt sell for a cheap price, and we sell those products at a cheaper price than youd find at a normal retail chain. So if a store couldnt sell your products, our store may have bought a bunch of it and sent it to my store to stock and sell on our shelves : p

We have a few items that we stock regularly, we call them never-outs. We get them weekly and sell them at a regular basis. But the vast majority of our wares are from other stores : p
