Kokonoe

Wario Fan Supreme
Greetings everyone! Already had a warm welcome on my comment page, but figured I'd introduce myself more properly. I'm Kokonoe, have been a huge Wario fan since I was very young, at least over 16 years ago and my favorite game of the series is Land 4, although Land 2 and Land 1 I adore a lot as well.

The thing about the Land series for me is just how different it is compared to Mario. I love the quirky and bizarre traits of the game, as well as Wario's more kinda actiony gameplay and the humor just tops it off as well.

Big fan of Nintendo and SEGA games as well, and ran into this forum inadvertently typing "Rhythm Heaven forums" on Google, but saw the activity here and figured I just had to sign up since I was lacking a place to post and I love Wario and his games.

Looking forward to enjoying myself here and hello!

We spoke on a Wario World thread, and I stopped by your profile page to shake your hand.

We get a LOT of disappointing no-shows who sign up and disappear almost immediately. I won't name names, but I sure hope you stick around and cut the mustard, Koko!

Welcome! I hope you enjoy your time here, and feel free to visit the Rhythm heaven section too, we'd love to expand on it a little more!

Edit: I love your avatar!

Welcome, welcome once again. Good to see love for the Land series.

Glad to hear you say that. If I were to be honest, Wario Ware actually hugely disappointed me because it took over the Wario series I knew and love and it's like Land ended up being a thing of the past due to it. I gave the Wii game and I think the DS one a shot a while back and I could never get into them, another being my disappointment Land was replaced with something entirely different.

However, in recent years I've been thinking more and more of giving the Wario Ware series another shot since a lot of my feelings I've settled within myself about it, and although I feel the WarioWare series should have just been it's own game series and non related to Wario, after playing Game and Wario (which I honestly like a lot and think it's a really hilarious game), I'm willing to give the Wario Ware series another shot. (Also Rhythm Heaven heavily influenced my change of heart as well)

I hear the GBA and Gamecube WarioWare's are pretty good, I'll start with there first.

and... Haha, well I don't want to feel pressured, but I look forward into posting more here.

Haha! I notice your sig is Rhythm Tengoku GBA style as well I see. Awesome to you as well and thanks! (fun fact: my avatar is from the arcade version of Rhythm Tengoku!)

I'll certainly muster what I can in that section for sure. VforVictory:

Greetings, Kokonoe and thank you for joining our community. I am Kyon

Everyone here at WarioForums are very pleased to meet you, we all welcome our new users with open arms. We hope you have a fun time here, Kokonoe. We can't wait for you to join in on the hundreds of discussions we have. Don't be shy!

Just in case you haven't already, here are the Rules and Guidelines for the WarioForums. I've been around for almost a whole year (Three days actually until I truly have been here a year) and in my time here I don't think the Mod is very strict, but be careful nonetheless.

Like the rules say, anything related to Pron is not allowed, you know, the usual, no weird images and stuff like that.

It would be appreciated if you could report anyone breaking the rules to our mods.

Our community isn't only limited to Wario discussions, we also have a General chat. If you want to chat with our users you can start any type of topic in our Social Thread. (providing it doesn't break the rules. Porn/hentia are prohibited.)

================================================================

I hope you have a really good time here, make some fun memories, make new friends! If you need any help at all don't be afraid to ask me or anyone else.

- Kyon

Wow! A member after my own heart.

Tell me, how did you find Wario Land: The Shake Dimension? (Or "Shake It!" as it's known in some territories). It quickly became one of my all-time favourite titles, but I find myself quite alone in my fondness for it. I know it does a lot of things wrong in the Wario Land department, but us beggars for classic Wario really can't be choosers. Besides, Shake Dimension is a beautiful, highly-polished product (and I never expected another Wario Land after waiting so long since WL4).

By the way, don't feel any pressure being active here. It's just that we're always getting new, hopeful members, and then being let down very quickly.

Thank you. I'll be sure to give the rules a read! Thankfully, I am more of the kind of person that is annoyed if someone posts something NSFW than the ones who enjoy it, so you'll never have to worry about me posting any content of that sort.
Welcome! WL4 is literally one of the best games out there. Enjoy yourself here!
Yes to that, brotha! Love just about everything about that game, I'll probably in the future post more about what I enjoy in a separate thread.
Welcome Cocoa, yeee Wario Land series is beautiful and magical and filled with manly characters like Wormwould.
Thanks, Metaland! I can create names, too! (lol)

I absolutely love how in Land 4 Wario legit has muscles and works out and does other things like flexing.

Funnily enough... I had issues getting into it. I guess, it kinda goes the opposite direction of Land 4's and makes Wario a little too goofy for my tastes. Also, the mechanics and stuff just feels slower overall by comparison and not as actiony. However, you're right, we don't really have much choices to choose from so I should def give it another shot.

Perhaps via Dolphin or playing on a CRT. Hmm:

Oh, does it let you down when people don't stick around?

That is just super to hear, Kokonoe! You will fit right in, seeing as there are a lot of people here who hold Wario Land so close to their heart. I hope you enjoy it here, and stay for awhile unlike some members who made an account and left the next day. Maybe we're boring? Laughing out loud.
