gender and sex are different. sex is determined by chromosomes and other sexual differences; gender is what you feel you are and the role you feel you take in society basically.

Biologically its nonsense, yes. Its about identity, who people want to be and how they want to be treated.

I dont think you are hateful btw, its not really as simple as "just accept it", theres alot more to it than that. Gender itself is a social construct, yeah. But sex is still an important part of a person, and its something we should learn to find was to accept feel happy with, and keep ourselves away from hating ourselves over something you have no control over. I once really hurt myself trying to change things I cant control, so it can really be a dangerous way of thinking, and not something that we should encourage.

Non-binary genders are something I've always had issues with. As in, I have trouble with gender, because of societal portrayals and common ideas of how a girl/guy should act. A lot of people just sort of cast away identifying as either. Doesn't really change anything about their sex or sexual preferences, it just sort of makes them feel more comfortable. Most people are gonna feel comfortable with identities, but I think it's important to let those who have issues with it do what they want.

I have heard of like otherkin or trans-folk who identify as actual exsting people, thats really a problem there that should be addressed, if you are serious and believe your life is being harmed by this.

@Mona - The issue is that a majority of those people are trolls, and the people who are serious are likely young teenagers who probably bought the trolls' acts and followed along. It gives a bad name to a lot of the movement.

@ckd - And it's okay, and yeah the Ambo-whatever is basically just a version of androgynous that's made to make people think it's weird. But there's so many fake lists out there that it's impressive how many people are duped by them. Sorry for getting huffy, it's just something I've had to deal with a lot, and it gets irritating after a while. (I'm not even NB, a lot of my closer friends are.)
