What's something weird that's pleasing to your senses.

This surprisingly under-done trope in cartoons (in the sense that I just so happen to have an actual sexual fetish for it):

(Unfortunately, the show that this was Photoshopped from was far too lazy and uncreative to actually feature the brain infiltration depicted here)

This scene from Beast Wars, specifically the way the music is handled. The tempo matching up with the left, right, left, right of Megatron's footfalls to the point where I can easily imagine the hypothetical sheet music's additional "mood" label being written as "Purposeful". Love shit like that.

Other examples that I really dig include the Sorcerer's Apprentice, like the actual piece, where you can really get a feel for what's going on if you know the story, because the sounds match up well. Same thing with "Discovery on Kamino", where the orchestra does a fantastic job of simulating the sounds of rain and waves crashing just with a bunch of cymbals. I can imagine I'd also dig the isolated audio from a Tom & Jerry short for these same reasons.

Ok since I feel like thread is starting to get a lot of negative attention I'd like to clarify something.

This is the second time xandermartin98 has made a post like that and I already deleted the first one and gave him a warning for that yesterday. That one was a lot worse and outright explicit. This one was not as bad hence my more subdued response but the main problem has already been addressed and here's to hoping xandermartin98 acknowledges the rules.

Now, I am completely incompatible with ASMR videos, the whole "panning" thing they do goes so far as to make my skin crawl.

However, this is in a whole different ballpark. It's veryyy, odd, and, disss-jointed, to say the least, but. In some strange wa~y, I find it... (inhale) caaaalming.
My favorite thing about his voice is that it's really "dragging" and enunciates the way a Text-to-Speech voice would half the time. The dialog they give to be delivered in this voice makes it all the sweeter.

The odour of gardening manure. Not always, but in light doses, especially when combined with the smell of plants and moist soil, it gives me that pleasant garden feeling. I've worked in a gardening centre for quite a while, and while it wasn't the best job, everytime I encounter this particular smell, it still gives me pleasant memories.

I love the sounds that ice makes in old cartoons, that sound that's kind of like fabric ripping apart? In particular you can hear these sorts of sounds in Tom Turk and Daffy when Daffy throws a bucket of water and it crystallizes into a bridge, and in that one Donald Duck where he makes a crude hemisphere out of snow, then pours water on it-- it proceeds to gradually harden into a battleship round, accompanied by the very sort of "kr'nckly" type of noise in question.
