Nintendo's 2017 April Fools. ​

So yesterday Nintendo Badge Arcade released Crazy Galaxy for the Badge Arcade. Let's recap

Basically Nintendo used the Badge Arcade to promote their "New game" titled Crazy Galaxy. It features Ashley, the witch of Warioware in her very own spin-off title. Along side four new characters.

Coco-san is the first character and is in charge of cooking.

Anna is in charge of mechanics and is re-modeling a car-like spaceship!

Ashley has changed her staff to the guitar. Baito reiterates that female fighters are scary!

Pretty cool, right? So the story is five students in roll at an astronaut school. During some random point in time the five students are flung to the very end of the universe by some event that happened with their space ship practice. ((I blame Ashley.))

There, they must either fight off Aliens or befriend them. The player decides if Ashley wants to blast them or becomes friends with said Aliens.

Obviously an April Fools prank, says the release is 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The Bunny then comes up and says it is a prank. He goes on to say it might be true if you believe, as if this is a hint towards an actual game if people want it enough is up to debate.

You all know me, I would just love for Ashley to get her own video game title. Funny that Nintendo uses Ashley for a prank, as if they knew people actually want a game about Ashley, thus using her as a prank to get people's hopes up. Maybe one day.

So what are your thoughts? Would you like a game like Crazy Galaxy? maybe an Ashley game in general? For me, in general, If Crazy Galaxy was made into a game I'd most likely love it, though Space Witches? sounds a bit out there, maybe another type of genre.

Haha, maybe. I for one would love this Ashley game to come true, Nintendo probably knows her popularity is raising almost everyday. We're one step closer to Ashley having that one big lead up, her own game, maybe appearing in a spin-off like Kart 8 or Smash.

Who knows what might happen later these upcoming months, I hope she becomes DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, I have a good feeling they aren't done with DLC, there's still money to be had with Mario Kart, heh.

Crazy Galaxy doesn't seem to fit Ashley anyways, but an Ashley game is an Ashley game, I'd fully support it.
 
I feel as though this is gonna be one of those titles that lives on through another different Nintendo games that uses concepts from this and then people wished it would exist until DYKG says Super Mario for the Nintendo Fling uses some concepts.
Basically it will be acknowledged in the future and nothing more, I would LOVE to see an Ashley game but i don't see this happening, i hope i'm wrong.
 
It looks neat, the concepts and the ideas look very creative and interesting.
And if it does become a real thing in the future, then i'll definitely be interested in checking it out.

However, without any real proof of concepts outside of the general premise and characters, I can't say much much else really beyond that.

Haha, nice! You know Ashley has something going for her if even none big fans would want an Ashley game. The amount of support I see for this game to come true is amazing, never thought how many people actually want Ashley having her own game.

Though a prank I'm sure as hell glad it happened, I can truly see how popular she is.

I know, right? This is such an out there idea, but it looks like it could work out for the most part. Decent in sales, I'd say. I hear there was even a mini direct for the game on the Eshop of Japan, joke or not? I can't tell, I don't have a Japanese 3ds, lol. All of her new friends look cool in design, Coco-san being my favorite out of the bunch of new characters.
 
What amuses me the most about this is how they come up with a character named Vanessa while totally forgetting that WarioWare had a Vanessa too.
 
Perhaps it's a call back to that character, seeing as Vanessa (ware) is from Warioware, which is what this spin-off is based on. Though that's just a wild guess from me.
