Given that Nintendo has released at least one movie for the Mario series as a whole, and there are possible plans to make them for series like Luigi's Mansion and Donkey Kong Country in future, what could a Wario film be like?
Would Nintendo make it Wario Land themed, with Captain Syrup as the main antagonist? Would Waluigi join Wario on his adventures?
Or would they go for something WarioWare inspired instead?
What would you expect from a Wario movie in the style of the Super Mario Galaxy Movie?
If this hypothetical Wario movie is in the style of these Mario movies, I wouldn't expect them to focus on one series given how much material they love to pack in to 90 minutes of runtime. I could see an interesting concept from trying to integrate elements from both series though; maybe the story would be based on Wario Land 1 where Wario raids Kitchen Island, but Mona is also present as his assistant treasure hunter. Then they could go back to Diamond City and establish WarioWare Inc with their newfound funds... but not without their new enemy Syrup trailing them for revenge and an action-packed climax. Something like that, though I'm not sure I'd want a Wario cartoon that tries to pack all of that into a single elongated runtime, as much as I'd want an episodic series that really fleshes such concepts out.

This was something I thought about in the past. For the movie continuity, what world would Diamond City be on? Would Diamond City be located in the same world as the Mushroom Kingdom or Earth?
I feel like Wario would work a lot better as a show than a movie.
A slice of life WarioWare anime could be damn funny. We could even get Wario Land episode every now and then.
It could be something like Wario telling his friends about some of the crazy adventures he had like when he got trapped in the music box, or discovered the golden pyramid, and then it flashes back to that time, and then BOOM you get a whole ass Wario Land episode.
