I'll agree Normal mode on WL4 is fairly easy but I always considered Hard the default anyway, which is a suitable challenge. Personally, I never found Wario Land 2 particularly daunting until you reach the very final level.

As much as I love the Super Game Boy, I think the colour choices in WL2 were a bit too dull, just different shades of the same colour. Donkey Kong '94 I feel was a much better example of good 4-colour palette choices.

Always thought the Ware games have more identity when they look rougher. They're certainly not the best looking games but somehow that works in the series' favour in a makeshift sort of style. ...though i'm still pretty sure ears don't work this way
