Well, I've made it easier to get coins now. Basically, you now also get them if:
In addition to that, new members get 50, a daily login gives you 5 coins per day and spammers will lose coins when their content is deleted (equal to the amount they'd gain from posting it). So if you spam and create ten topics (getting say, 200 coins), then you'd lose all 200 when the topics are removed.
I'm hoping this balances things a bit better.
- Someone gives your post or message a positive rating
- Someone follows your profile
- Your topic gets a reply
- You vote on a poll
- You give a rating to a resource
- Your attachment/file is downloaded
- You follow someone else's profile
