250. As said, Ho-oh. The last Pokemon in Gold and Silver you can catch without an event or gameshark.
 
And then comes Celebi! Oddly enough, being a Grass/Psychic type, it can't even learn simple Grass type moves! What's up with that!? Anyways, 251, Celebi, the Time Travel Pokémon!
 
252. The first two generations of Pokemon have come to a close, and we're now in the midst of the series first dark age as the initial hype wears off.
