General Wario references thread (Now with Index on page 13).

Well, there's an Ashley Mii Swordfighter outfit in Smash.

To be perfectly fair, I kind of already saw this coming miles away. It's like with Geno and K. Rool.

I'm just disappointed that there are no Rhythm Heaven Mii costumes.

so the people here probably all already know about the ashley christmas badges, but I think I'm the first one on the tubes to point this out:

Does Ashley even celebrate Christmas? Based on her behaviour and artwork, I'd assume she was Satanist or something. Wouldn't that mean she wouldn't give a toss about the birth of Jesus?

Thought maybe she'd like it in a secular sense. Maybe.

That's not really a problem, as nowadays, American Christmas doesn't seem to have to do much with the birth of Jesus anymore anyway..

True. Which is quite depressing, especially when you get a situation like TV characters celebrating Christmas thousands of years before Christianity. *Looks at The Flintstones*

I don't think it'd be too bad if it weren't for the heavy commercialization taking precedence over any kind of meaning the holiday could have.

It reminds me of that Dexter's Laboratory episode, the way people seem to think of Christmas now.

You know the moment. Where after a talk about the meaning of Christmas, Santa Claus disagrees and just says it's about the presents.

Christmas is indeed way too commercialized nowadays. But hey, at least it also provides a time to get together with loved ones and show our love and support to each other. Sure, it also tends to involve spending copious amounts of money, but the good side of Christmas is still there. Or maybe I'm just too optimistic. That's also sometimes the case.

This is interesting, we're able to have a good conversation d:p
Imagine such a thing on YouTube... not going to happen, people will begin insulting people within two posts.. glad to have this forum around!

That's what happens when you have a community of generally pleasant people instead of random people commenting with other random people they're unlikely to ever see or care about again. We're actually able to get to know each other here, and we have more incentive to have good discussion. Plus, as I said, we're generally pleasant people. I'm not so sure YouTube comments have that same thing going for them.
