Hardest level in Wario Land 3?

Master of Fire & Ice & Wario Land 3: Master Quest!
The hardest level in Wario Land for me is S6 Above the Clouds.

HOLY CRAP! Those fading cloud platforms give you little time to react, you need to time your jumps perfectly, otherwise you'll end up at the bottom and have to START! THE! WHOLE! THING! OVER! AGAIN! The blue birds don't help much ether...

The music for the night however, is one of THE BEST tracks in the game! It kind of sounds like you gazing at the stars in the night sky, it's so relaxing... especially when you go into the moon! That is the best way to prepare to complete the game since you will have 99 treasures after that.

But the level in a whole is a real headache, but I really like it.

However, I added a whole bunch of enemies to it to make the experience unbearable for everyone! It sure made me miserable!

What level is the hardest for you?

Just going to second your choice here. That cloud level was an absolute pain, especially given how much more platforming it requires compared to any other area in the game.

I like it too, when you are playing it from the mini-game shop! (I got +1 on course 1)

Above the clouds is this for me. Especially after not noticing that the 4th chest could only be found at night since I missed the cutscene. I know that's my fault and all but imagine going up and down that level over and over in the day version looking all over the place before realizing that it's in the night version. It's not fun.

Hm, I'm not sure. It's been a long while since I first played the game, and it's also been quite a while since I last played it.
Above the Clouds is very frustrating, but mostly platforming-wise. For the puzzles, I had more trouble with The Vast Plain.

missing the cutscene isn't that bad of a thing.
I've seen an LPer completely misunderstood the cutscene. "What did that do? I think it like, summoned the sun or something".
But I've also seen somebody completly miss it. And unfortunately, it was one of those "I pre-record a whole bunch of videos in advance" LPs, so I couldn't give him a hint.
Oh, and that same LPer completly missed the whole "you found the 2 pieces of the sun, so you unlocked the daytime in the East side", which caused more confusion. Are those cutscenes bad? Or are people having a hard time noticing it? I mean, the cutscene clearly shows night turning into day...

Yeah, that's what I always did as well. d:)
There's still a music coin in the maze though, I believe, as well as a key, if I recall correctly.
This one?

And yeah, you still have to travel by owl to get that key, but still, you can skip the other half. :)

I always just get the key and then skip like that or do the maze and let myself get knocked back to skip the very final parts, there are several ways that you can go about it, which is why I find it to be the tamer one.
