Remoraid's a decent speedy special attacker in LC. Mostly outclassed in that niche, but it's very usable. Pretty sure it gets Brine.

My favorite Pokémon is Blastoise, due to nostaliga.
I was recently helping a friend of mine, online, developing and composing music for a game called "PokéWalker Plus" supposed to come out for mobile devices, but the idea is on hold... it may be scraped all together...

My favorite Pokémon would have to be Mawile. It's quite strong and could win most fights. (and Mega Mawile is somewhat broken, they banned it for a reason) Mawile has a pretty cool design for both normal and mega. Though back in gen 3, Mawile was so weak.

Nightmare? Can't say I've heard of that usage. I've only really seen para-flinching Dunsparce and Coil users.
Exactly! That is why I've put together various other strategies to use with all of my Dunsparce! I can throw my opponents off guard by using all of these!
...Fighting types are not fun to deal with, though Imscared:

My favorite pokemon is espeon, since it's a telekinetic cat thing. Plus it sort of reminds me of killer queen from jjba.

NU Normal specialist, can confirm. If the opponent has a sufficiently strong Fighting-type and is smart enough to use it safely, it's near impossible to win. If they're reckless, Ditto and Chatot can make some good work of them, though. I also have a history of dabbling in unique sets, with my signature team featuring a mixed Tauros, and a few old LC teams featuring a Nasty Plot Meowth (from way back when I was more known for my LC teams featuring Meowth as my designated Fake Out lead). I also met one of my closest friends in a UU match where I was using an Eject Button Cofagrigus with a Pursuit Slaking.

I'm a PU user actually! I don't exactly know how well the team does in battle since I've never used it yet, but the PU tier has many of my favorite Pokemon, so I just made a team using those!

I made the team before PU was an official Smogon tier. I'm pretty sure Audino isn't usable in PU, and that's a deal-breaker for me. I've seen a good amount of success with this team in a number of tiers, though. It can hold its own even in an OU setting, and I tend to use it in tiers more than teams actually made for each of those tiers just because it's solid enough to cover most of my bases.

My favorite Pokemon is Lilligant even though it's not viable. I just like cute things. I don't really play Pokemon anymore. Got stale for me and lost people to play it with.

Own Tempo Petal Dance is pretty solid on Lilligant. She's otherwise pretty much outclassed by other Grass-types, but that one usage allows her to hit like a truck. Also, she's cute. That's a nice plus. As for not really wanting to play Pokémon anymore, that's fine. I've honestly stopped playing it very much as well. I do have a lot of fond memories, though, and I still might play a little bit from time to time.

I tried a couple times to get into the competitive scene but as with competitive gaming in general I find it too rigid and I'm just not serious enough for it.

Yeah, but what I meant was that I broke away from the rigidness to make it more interesting for myself. Perhaps it wasn't optimal, sure, but I could hold my own. There was also an element of surprise to my teams, which is fun to exploit.

I'm not sure if you're not getting what I'm trying to get at but I'm not disagreeing with you. I would also try to make more unique teams but I was generally not successful. Hence, I found the metagame I guess too rigid.

Ah, that makes sense. I know exactly what you mean, since I've been having difficulty enjoying Melee as of late. I don't enjoy any of the top-tier characters, but playing anyone worse than them makes fighting them absolute hell. I didn't usually experience the same thing in Pokémon (although maybe I have and I've forgotten about that by now), but I can certainly see that.

Even now with the competitive pokemon scene ever so growing and evolving it's getting too convoluted. Having this fairy type really makes the game much more stranger, as it can defeat dark, fight, and dragon. 2 of which are already pretty strong types already gaining another weakness. I can say it atleast makes poison types much more valuable. Then we get these mega forms for pokemon stuff like megamawile or so it just seems so foreign to me now than when I played gen 4 and 5.

I've never really cared much for mega evolution. I tend not to use them, albeit mostly because I just end up using things that either don't have them or fill their niche better without them (mostly Audino). I like Fairy's existence mostly as a deterrent against Sableye.
