I think the thing about Waluigi is that he's not meant to have that much chemistry with Wario. He is a guy Wario hired to act as his sidekick to match Mario having Luigi. They are kind of friends, but they're not brotherly because aren't even related. I honeslty don't know how to feel about Waluigi. I really like him and I think he fits great in the Mario universe along side Wario but... I like the idea that Wario's Diamond City friends are his close friends and Waluigi is more of a sports friend. The only thing I kinda don't understand are why people like Shokora. She has like 3 seconds of screen time.
I mean yeah but like... She still doesn't have much of a personality y'know. I wouldn't say she goes better with Wario than Waluigi does.

This is true. I have always preferred "cool Wario" like we got in the commercials back in the day but that's western stuff and Wario just IS a gross out character.
