Hey, it's Koko B. Ware! Welcome to our pro wrastling party.

Haha, nice he has a bird. (bird lover)

I'll pop in here on occasion. I may not be the most up to date but I at least watched a bit early this year and last year as well as watched from the 90s to the late 2000s.

From what I remember hearing, the Lesnar vs Goldberg match ended up being disappointing because neither man really ended up caring much about the match, since both were going to walk out of WWE afterwards anyway.

Heya, Kokonoe. Welcome aboard. And dont worry about that, we dont really talk about current wrestling either, in fact I dont think anyone on this forum actually still watches it today : p

Dont be fooled by Angler of Lake Asparagus' btw, Hulk Hogan does in fact eat nuts and honey. Dont be lead astray by his blatant disinformation.

So I recently watched Sting's Hall Of Fame speech, turns out hes really retiring after all ; _ ; Really sucks that his career ends on a bunch of incredibly lame WWE matches that did nothing more than remind us that WWE "won". I kinda wonder if Sting wants to keep it that way, just to prove his point about the thing he said about WWE, and why hed never join because they make WCW guys into jokes. What do you guys think?

Sorry if it sounds like Im hating on WWE all the time, like I said Im 100% sure WCW would have done the same : p I love WWE and all but this is one thing they really did wrong.

It does make sense just leaving the two companies aside it feels like Vince personally has some sort of grudge against WCW and not just that company but wrestlers who could potentially " threaten " him in popularity. It's why when Dusty Rhodes was never given a main event match during his WWE run, as well as why he wore those polk-a-dot leotard in his matches. In a way Sting is right especially if you consider what WWE did with Buff Bagwell, DDP, and many others but I felt like he should have retired long before coming into WWE since he was pretty old by then. All in all it's just Vince's hatred for popularity outside of his circle. The hostility is just very strange to me it's the same as Genesis fans arguing about Peter Gabriel era was " the better " era of Genesis than the Phil Collins era, even though the group is composed more than just two guys. You had Steve Hackett both an amazing musician and song writer as well as their really good guitarist/bassist Mike Rutherford. It's just a shame that Vince would do this instead of embracing both WWE and WCW's highpoints together.

I think WWE was willing to give him a more fair run compared to other "outside" guys. Above all it was an accident that ended his career since the same move that damaged his neck also put out another guy out for months just one day after capturing his world title.

As for Lesnar vs Goldberg... Word got out that both men were on their way out so the crowd didn't buy into it at all.

I dont believe they were at all : p In fact Sting even gave a speech on an episode of Raw before Wrestlemania saying he wasnt there to fight for WCW, that that whole thing died a long time ago, all because WWE was setting it up as "the final battle". And the match at Wrestlemania, they totally set it up as a fight between WCW and WWE, like theres no denying that at all : p I strongly believe thats all Sting was for the company, and I dont believe he got a good run at all.

He may have later on, but he was still a prop for WWE to glorify its own name : p

And of course its not like WCW hasnt done similar things in its own histoery with guys from other companies too, but Im talking about Sting speficially.

Maybe I'm just a bit optimistic since WWE has been using outside top talent from TNA and RoH quite well like Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles, and Kevin Owens. I guess it's not quite the same thing since those other promotions aren't as big or mainstream as WWE but I do know Vince still prefers his own guys.

Oh yeah, they can make stars with people from other promotions, but when it comes to top WCW talent, they use them to glorify their own product again.
It makes sense, WCW was the one single company to really beat them at their own game. Ive heard WWE came close to closing its doors due to WCW's success.

You know... I was fine with the PG rating thing, but the more I think about the past and all the crazy antics that made WWE entertaining, it really feels like PG hurts WWE quite a bit from the creative freedom it once had.

Characters like Muhammad Hassan, and the beat downs like Ric Flair by Triple H, and McMahon's by Orton. All of the weird and bizarre antics, like Kurt Angle shooting Big Show with a tranquilizer gun (lol).

I also miss how Smackdown and Raw use to have two different rosters. The way WWE is setup now, you get the same match twice a week, since they only give the "stars" a shot and they're just repeating matches with each other on both Raw and Smackdown, whereas the way it was before, allowed more wrestlers to get spotlight whilst also keeping things more fresh not seeing the same people too many times a week.

-edit-

from looking it up, it seems they separated the brands again? that's cool, hope it's entirely separate.

I think WWE got very complacent for a time as you can easily see from how long John Cena was on top. WWE failed to build many potential new stars and kept going on with the same tired feuds like John Cena v Randy Orton and John Cena v The Rock.

The new brand split has shaken things up but it hasn't made as much of an impact as it should. The current batch of champions is rather interesting since it's mostly a batch of new faces so let's see if WWE can reinvigorate itself.

An asian guy as a champion! (at the NXT one) Don't think we've seen that in WWE for a very long time.

And yeah, like, it also wasn't even just Cena, like they even over used Roman Reigns vs Wyatts for like a billion times, Seth Rollins as the only heel for such a long time, keep having HHH come back and win titles when he's (in story) not training or fighting or anything lol. I think it's just a collective of bad decisions by WWE. Glad to see they are starting to shape up (probably due to Shane).

The new faces are way more interesting than what the cast that was pushed in previous years. John Cena, Roman Reigns, Ryback, a lot of these guys were plain boring and it's really odd that John Cena still is some one with a high status since he's like grandpa now. Would love to see More Shinsuke he's incredibly entertaining in the ring and he's got funny mic skills. Sasha Banks looks like a Pokemon character herself though it's neat.

With Cena, it's cause no one has really gotten to his level. CM Punk got pretty close, but Cena is just far more marketable. Daniel Bryan was widely loved cause he was a underdog and there was just something about him that resonated with people, but at the end of the day his mic skills kinda lacked and was injury prone and retired.

I don't think Cena should always be the champion, but at the same time, keeping him around in some form of spotlight is good business. Like, his charisma and mic skills are good for pushing Heels to bring out more heat when they make comebacks, too. WWE is more about how you appear than just mere skill, which is why Cesaro for a while didn't get much of any push. He had like all the skills of a champion, but was terrible at the mic.

Roman Reigns is just... (not sure if he's improved since i watched) but his mic skills are just awful, lol. I'm not really sure if he can ever be a real contender for the company.
Ryback has his place as a simple macho dude, but that's about it.

Cena has always been on top for numerous years, it feels like he's hogging a lot of air time which could be used for newer rising stars. Well it seems like it won't end for Cena at least not anytime soon. Personally liked him best when he was a heel since his mic skills are pretty good.

Don't think anyone ever cared for Roman Reigns, he never sparked the thrill with fans as Daniel Bryan did. Yeah hah his mice skills are terribly funny reminds me of Psycho Sid. His mic skills are my favorite thing about Roman Reigns aside from his looks.

Yeah, I def don't feel Cena should always be on top once again, just feel him being in some form of the spotlight is good business. Either that be a non title fued match, short lived tag team, going for a smaller title. I personally find him entertaining, and I attribute like the issues with WWE management more than anything. At the same time, I think for a while they had no one they felt they could push, I mean we saw what happened when they tried to push Roman Reigns. I also feel they were stubborn about a lot of stuff, too.

And yeah, I loved his rapper gimmick, I kinda grew up with him (watching when I was 13 years old) and saw him rise to the top and he became my favorite wrestler. Although I do prefer him as face, and liked his face rapper gimmick more-so. All in all, it's WWE management that really messes things up.

and.............................lol................
His dialogue is so generic in that video. I really hope he has improved since this.

I used to watch Wrestling but i stopped when my favourite Wrestler Carlito stopped.
*Cries*:STTnTT::CSCry:

I remember when he debut and just instantly stole the title from Cena. I was like "OMG NO! NO!!! NO!!!" as a kid. lmao

I also remember when his buddy (in story) shanked Cena at a bar. haha funny times.
