Oh wow, I never would have guessed that of all wrestlers, Kurt Angle had a drug problem.

I didnt actually read the article, but thats a pain killer, so Im guessing he was taking it because of his profession? Gotta feel bad for him : /

DDP is such an awesome guy, he really deserves more recognition than he gets. I mean even just in terms of wrestling, he was an awesome wrestler with a good fan base. Its too bad that he just kinda died out after WCW. (WWE is obviously to blame : p)

I do wonder how far his career could've gone since he was already kind of old once his wrestling career really got going in WCW in the late 90s. Still I'd say he had a pretty respectable career and has even continued to give meaningful contributions to the wrestling world.

What about the very flashy lucha underground scene? Remember being in a chat room with one guy who was so into it, but they seem so crazy like acrobats rather than wrestlers. Just getting way up after a shoulder charge it seems less strength or technique and more about speed.

Sting was just a body builder who tried out a wrestling class with a friend of his, and he became the top star of WCW.

If you work hard enough at it, you could even become a famous wrestler, that would be way cool : p Keep your username as your wrestling name, though, so that well know its you : p

I don't think I have an athletic enough background to do stuff like that. Was thinking a more strike/submission based moveset.

I know that people today want those high flying guys in wrestling nowadays, but I actually prefer these kinda wrestlers : p I miss the more slow paced technical stuff of like the early 90s. Wonder if it will ever make a comeback.

Not back as a wrestler but back from totally ruining his life. The movie covers his recovery from an overweight alcoholic drug addict to a WWE Hall of Fame inductee with the support of Diamond Dallas Page.

Ahah, right. I knew Jake had been to hell and back. I need to watch that then. Cheers for the heads up, Big M.

Yeah, its also covered in the video I posted above titled real life wrestling heroes or whatever : p

So today I was thinking about getting WWE day of reckoning for Gamecube, maybe, just to play a wrestling game. Has anyone played it before? Is it any good?
