Whenever someone refers to me simply as King, all I can think of is this guy here.

And that amuses me to no end.

I have never considered this, but now that you point it out, it will always stick with me : p

I am even gonna read your posts in his voice : p

Hes a former pro wrestler later became pro wrestling commentator : p If you were ever a fan of wrestling, youd know who he is : p Jerry "The King" Lawler.

(May have the spelling wrong)

Btw on commentators, whos your guys favorite commentator?

I have seen alot of hate for him on youtube comments, so Im guessing hes not well liked? But I actually really really liked Tony Schaivone from WCW. And not just because hes from WCW, I both like his voice and the way he commentates. He really feels like an excited fan : p I liked Eric Bischoff as a commentator too. And Vince McMahon, actually. He was really great as a commentator, too.

Bobby Heenan and Dusty Rhodes were terrible commentators though : p

When it comes to commentators in wrestling I usually don't pay attention since I'm too immersed in the match to really tell what the commentators are on about. I'd have to really just go with Vince mostly because he says the weirdest things and over the top at that as well.

Although I don't see much of WCW Tony Schaivone does have a really good voice for commentating. Usually commentators that stick out would be ones that are really bad at it such as Booker T or Michael " vintage " cole. Or this one football commentator dude Magma told me about you might need to ask him about that one.

Most people want King to retire now because he's just past his prime now and Vince puts a lot of restrictions on what commentators can say nowadays.

My favorites are Gorilla Monsoon, Bobby Heenan, Jesse Ventura, Vince McMahon, Randy Savage, Jerry Lawler in his prime and Jim Ross.

It really depends on the chemistry of the commentators. I really like King, but he needs to be paired with someone who works well with him, like JR or Vince way back when Vince was just a commentator. I didn't really find his commentary with Micheal Cole quite as fun. King has been a little less entertaining nowadays, though. When he's allowed to let loose, he's got a really sharp wit.

Definitely, some of my favorite pairings are Gorilla Monsoon and Bobby Heenan, Vince and Jesse Ventura, Vince and Macho Man, Vince, and King, King and Jim Ross.

Oh yeah, Steve McMichael, I think. He was a pretty good commentator. I liked his little dog he had with him : p

I did not know Randy Savage commentated. Neat.

Oh and Booker T was not real great as a commentator, no : p Taz was an okay commentator, but not real great.

Oh, anyone know Joey Styles on ECW? He seems popular but I didnt like him : p He felt like an actor, didnt feel natural to me. Plus I dont think he had the voice for it.

I remember a Halloween Havoc match with DDP and Macho Man where Bobby Heenan and Dusty Rhodes were commentating, and they were terrible together : p Like, they even spoiled a part of the match where DDP was supposed to hit Macho Man with a tombstone. They were really all over the place : p

Bam Bam Bigelow and Scott Hall, that looked like a really good match up. I liked Bam Bam, he was fun to watch. Scott Hall, too. He should have had a world championship title run.
