Series you lost interest in/stopped playing?

Are there any? And if so, what are they?

Personally I can't see there are many series I can recall losing interest in, though the mediocre quality of modern Pokemon titles definitely makes me avoid playing them.

Borderlands, and I wouldn't say I just lost interest in them, because I don't know how I stomached any of them to begin with. I guess that's what playing the games your old friend likes will do to you, but looking back those games are really not appealing to me at all. Kinda funny how they dropped the 4th one to absolute crickets though.

Deltarune. It's too depressing.

I still really enjoy Ribbit, though.

For me it would be the Donkey Kong series. It just gets too old, and at this point, every new game just feels like it's copy of another one (the last few HAVE been). Now, don't get me wrong, Bananza is great, but all DKC games just feel the same as the last.

This an INSANE take when Tropical Freeze is genuinely God's Gift to Earth.

Unfortunately, the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series. Especially after recent events.

Maybe Sonic. As a kid, I was genuinely used to be obsessed with it but as I grow up I'm starting to lose my interest for it. Sonic 3 & Knuckles is stil my favorite game of all time but I don't really like the path the series is going in and I'm starting to realize that most 3D Sonic games are not that great. Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Generations are awesome but things like Sonic Adventure 1, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colors and Sonic Lost World have too many flaws for me to consider them more than just good nowadays.

There's also Cuphead (which is not a series but whatever...) which I used to love and then I kinda don't care too much about now. It's just not as well designed as I originally thought it was. Still great though.
