I agree. The beginning of Majora isn't all that player-friendly either. It's a huge question of "what the fuck do I do" for three days, then you rewind time, but if you don't already know what to do, besides getting the Bombers' Notebook or whatever, you're still in that same situation. Trying to 100% that game is something that I could never do, either, because the constant time-traveling and undoing everything makes me frustrated. I'm getting all scrambled just thinking about it. Can I go back to the Water Temple, please?Ocarina of Time is a better game than Majora's Mask.
Mm has a more unique story, but the game is not as solidly built as oot. There are even game breaking problems, like if you follow the sea horse to pinnacle rock and don't have enough bottles to get all the eggs, the seahorse will not guide you back a second time.
It's a creative game, and it has a cool atmosphere. It's a good game, but oot is the better game.
*Ech-ech-hem*Red Faction II is cool (fight me irl @tahutoa)

Weeee, are strong enough to ffight the Red Faction.
Weee, are strong enough, to prevail.
I remember bits beyond this as well, but the second 'verse' is still a blur to me.

Oh, and that's another thing: I actually like the Water Temple, a lot. I went into OoT thinking the Fire Temple was gonna be my favorite temple (I have the version with the Muslim moons on the blocks, and as such also have the superior ost for Fire Temple), and while I did enjoy it, I was surprised to learn that I liked the Water Temple more-- more than either of the preceding two. I personally dislike the Forest Temple the most. The Water Temple is a case of needing to keep track of how high the water needs to be for whatever task it is you're doing, but unlike Majora, it's not that hard to do so. I especially like how everything in the whole damn building follows the same color scheme-- it's one of the few cases where I like the color beige.
Huh, I'm surprised that that's an unpopular opinion. I had expected most people to think that way, but some of them realising that it was probably a choice they had to make, because of the current trend.Super Mario Odyssey's UI is lifeless and kinda boring.
You know, the menu thing. Feels like its going for that trendy flat design aesthetic, and doesn't really fit a Mario game all that well to me. Compare this:
To say, Mario 64's one:
The latter looks worse on a technical and arguably artistic level, but it just feels more like a Mario UI. Feel the same is true of Breath of the Wild. It's very flat and basic in terms of UI, but it doesn't feel as 'Zelda' like in the UI design sense because of it.
Whenever I see someone refer to the plot of the pre-Sticker Star Paper Marios as "deep" or "complex", I immediatly become suspicious of that person's age and/or media litteracy.
Well, they certainly have the post Paper Marios beat. I think the only reason people started using this to describe them was because 4 & 5's stories were so simple and drab by comparison that what was just creative storytelling suddenly seems a lot more rich.Whenever I see someone refer to the plot of the pre-Sticker Star Paper Marios as "deep" or "complex", I immediatly become suspicious of that person's age and/or media litteracy <-- lol irony.
