WARIO WORLD ON THE NSOEXP DEAL!!!

I rewatched the trailer and noticed it says rated T for teen? Does NSO version now have Wario smoking cigars?

I joked about this earlier since I didn't notice it, but I now realize it's because the rating is for the entire GameCube app, since it includes some T-rated games. Wario World itself is still rated E. Not sure why they don't specify the individual games' ratings in these trailers...

I hope the WarioWare micro games are playable even without the GBA connectivity and that there is the fight against the black jewel from the japanese version.
You know, I'm really curious how the microgames work here now. Definitely agree that it'd be cool if they were playable without the connectivity, like how ports of Super Mario Advance 4 don't need the e-Reader to access those levels.

Oh that makes more sense. It's a rating for the whole app, not any particular game.

Btw, someone keep me posted on if they added the Japanese version of the Black Jewel fight in (supposedly there's a ledge in a snow level that is removed in versions with the edited Black Jewel fight, so if anyone can find out if that ledge is missing that would also help as it likely means the Black Jewel fight is also changed here). Also let me know if the WarioWare microgames are still playable on this port.
I'll obviously try to find these out for my self but in the case someone is quicker than me I just want them to let me know.

My NSO drip feeding hating ass when they feed me Wario content :annieheadbounce:

Now all we need is Mega Party Games on NSO too and I'm in heaven. Imagine Milky Way Delirium Online!!
I always wanted to be able to play Warioware multiplayer modes online as it's difficult to find anyone that is into WW irl :/ (atleast for me)
I mean I get the arguments as for why there wasn't one in Get it Together aside from the Wario Cup but I really couldn't care less if its broken and laggy, that is basically a given with a lot of Nintendo online experiences anyways.

The GBA micro games are unlockable but not playable. That is a big shame. And the japanese fight against the black jewel is also not part of the game.

What do you mean for the former?
Unlocking them from collecting the treasures in each level, like in the original game. You can still view them in the Treasure Square hub, but there's no way to link a Game Boy Advance to play them.
I sadly expected both that and a lack of the improved final boss. Nintendo has still been stingy with making most regional differences in games available, or even entire region-exclusive games... (hack cough Mother 3)

Oh I guess that makes sense. Disappointed that GBA connectivity seems to be absent in Switch 2 re-releases of GBA games.

I can understand that Nintendo didn't use the GBA connectivity in Zelda Wind Waker for Nintendo Online. That 2-Player-Coop probably would be to much work. But that they didn't use it in Wario World? We are talking about only 28 micro games. Such a pity, Wario World feels incomplete.

Perhaps a long shot, but might it be possible it was the core WarioWare creative team (Goro Abe, Ko Takeuchi, and the Paper Mario team of Intelligent Systems) that pushed for this to be released and/or made the trailer? Perhaps the same Wario passion project energy that keeps WarioWare alive also brought this miracle, too.

Internal devs don't have this kind of sway in which games get rereleased, none of them worked on Wario World and the very deliberate ironic juxtaposition of generic movie trailer music with footage of the game's weirdness is pretty far removed from Japanese sensibilities lol
