What's the deal with Spoiled Rotten anyway?

He's not a ghost, unlike every other boss in the game. Animate food like creatures make no other appearances, his minions are enemies only found in his arena and hey, the guy even has what appears to be a Gamecube and other luxuries in the background:

So what's he even doing in the Golden Pyramid? What association does it have with the Golden Diva and co?
 
Chance and I like to think Shokora has an awful lot of time as a shapeshifter cat undead person thing so she spends lots of time just learning stuff, composing music, building giant robots to fend off the forces of evil... but cooking aint her strength :,ccc

Well, considering he's the boss of the Entry Passage, perhaps he just wandered into the pyramid one day and decided to squat there. No affiliation to Golden Diva or the rest.

He might be Shokora's favorite pet, making him into a spoiled rotten creature who would dump a chewing toy for that gamecube. Those minions are his perfect toys?

Oooh, food can spoil? I never thought of that.
So the name "Spoiled Rotten" is actually a double-reference, that's clever.
I also love the background with the items showing how spoiled it is.
Perhaps Shokora herself spoiled it?
