What's your favourite Wario Land song?

For me, it's a tough choice, since I don't think there's been a single Wario game where the soundtrack wasn't a banger. But I think I'm gonna go with Out of the woods (night)


Not sure how to explain it, but It always brings back so much nostalgia.

Awesome choice. I especially loved rolling in Wario's ball form and it would make the song go much faster. You gotta love small details like that.

A lot of my favorites are from II and 3 (to nobody's surprise), but if I had to pick just one, I find myself coming back to 3's Tidal Coast/Sea Turtle Rocks/Beneath the Waves the most.

So many of the songs from WL3 have so much personality going on and the way they all have the same motif makes it kinda hard for me to favor one over the other. I heard 8 bit music theory call it the way it's articulated, and it really stuck with me. Now when I hear Greenwood Forest I feel like it has a Wario structure if that makes any sense. The WL3 credits theme sure gets me hyped though and it sure feels nostalgic when you get to the daytime map screen

And then Wario Land Shake It has a similar problem where it's so hard to pick just one song

So I might have to go with WL4 where you can't go wrong with crescent moon village, and I also like the train theme from the first one

Yeah, I kinda feel like it was referenced in Pizza Tower with Good Eatin' having a a similar vibe, being in a 3rd world, a stage based around games and a credit theme:

One hundred percent. Also Golf was hands down my favourite stage in the game. The whole vibe screamed Wario Land. Also Crust Cove and Refrigerator-Refrigerador-Freezerator.

I'm still bummed Antonblast didn't have a freezer level

The ending song of Wario Land 4, even though it's basically just them combining a few songs from the game once it gets past the 30 seconds mark, is one of my favorite video game songs in general. Of course I'm biased as it's one of my favorite games so obviously I have a soft spot for the songs in it, but I just really enjoy the soft melodies and the lyrics of it. Makes me feel a bit emotional.

I completely forgot about that one and it's such a good pick, I like both the English and Japanese versions but I prefer the former just hitting different

Hall of Hieroglyphs and Crescent Moon Village's are so iconic, and so does "Hurry Up!"
