So I took some pictures of my video games for another forum, and I thought I could share them here too : p
If anyone else would like to share pictures, totally feel free to do so.
Xbox-
Xbox is an underrated console. Ive had a ton of fun with it. I really liked the Star Wars games on it. If youre interested in trying the KoToR series, alot of people say that KoToR 2 isnt playable on Xbox, but I beat it and it was fine. Other than some jump arounds on the end, the game was totally great and worth playing. Ive seen some of the fan patch, and they made the story all lame and cliche anyway.
Kingdom Under Fire was really cool too, but it can be really hard sometimes : p I need to give it another chance one day.
I own Shenmue 2, but I havent payed it yet, cuz I really wanna play the first one first. But I dont own it yet : p
Gamecube-
I <3 Gamecube : p
All these games are great (not including the wrestling games), I really liked all of them. Some of my all time favorites are in there, like Tales of Symphonia, Skies of Arcadia, the Lost Kingdoms games, Baten Kaitos, and Paper Mario TTYD. Im glad that I can still put these games in and replay them when I want to : p Have been thinking about replaying TTYD lately, actually.
Talking with Magma on here about wrestling got me interested in trying some wrestling games, so I picked those two up for cheap : p The top one was kinda neat cuz its story mode is basically Fighting Force but with wrestlers, haha. You literally go through like shopping malls and parking garages and beat up random baddies : p So its basically a WWE beat em up, haha. The bottom one had an interesting storyline to play through, I only vaguely remember it, but someone steals the world title and pins it on your character, so he has to fight to get back on the show and to get his girlfriend back, it was neat and had some branching storyline affected by choices you made.
I havent actually played the Phantasy Star card game there yet, but it looks interesting. Ive heard that theres this dice system in the game that kinda brings it down though, cuz like even if you come up with a really awesome strategy that will totally beat the enemy, if you get a low roll on the dice, it doesnt even matter what you do cuz youll still lose. That sounds pretty awful : (
Dreamcast-
There are a ton of games Id like to play on Dreamcast, but I dont own many yet, and I spent alot of money on a few of these games (over 100$) so it will be a while before I get anymore, haha : p Unless I find them cheap at a game store anyway.
Carrier on the top left there, CMV got me that, and I was really excited to get it. But sadly it has a hole in the disk, and I wont be able to beat it unless I buy another copy : ( Its a really good game though, I liked it a bunch.
Time Stalkers, on the bottom right there. It is a slighty buggy game that feels pretty low budget : p But I definitely dont dislike it, I actually liked it alot, haha. Its a small dungeon crawler. Its super fun too. It takes place on like a little patch of land floating in the middle of nowhere, and every now and then other parts of other worlds are teleported to it, and you have to go through a dungeon from that world. Its really neat, I enjoy seeing the ruins of other worlds and meeting the characters in them.
I have Sonic Shuffle, and I really like it, but I dont have anyone to play it with : p I only have one friend IRL, but like no one I know is interested in playing Dreamcast games : p
I hate how people assume that if a console or game flopped, its automatically terrible and they shouldnt even try it. The majority of my favorite games were not big sellers.
Wii-
Definitely the most underrated console ever.
I actually like a bunch of other games Ive played for it in the past too, I just dont currently have them yet : p These games were all really great, though.
Outside of that, I have two 3ds games, one N64 game, and a couple others I forgot to add to the pictures, like Legend of Black Kat or whatever for Xbox (its actually really fun) and Daytona USA for Dreamcast, among a few others. I dont have many PS2 games, think I have like 3 of them, and the only one worth mentioning is Winback, which is a great game.
