    Found out recently that FL21's update to the Soundfont Player includes different Interpolation settings... none of which make WL4 sound like it should. Even "Crunchy," which comes the closest to sounding right (for the most part), has this stupid Peaking Filter thing going on where resonance is too high in one spot for some reason.

    I never thought I'd see the day where SynthFont made WL4 sound better than FL Studio.
    I only installed 21 because I need Soundfont Player, and my dumb computer won't open the 32-bit version of FL20 anymore.
    My only thought for how to get at The Sound again besides using EQ for every sound channel is to try reinstalling FL 20 and hope that magically lets me use the 32-bit version again (I wish they had x86 for this reason).
    However, I worry about that messing with file pathways after 21 carried over all my preferences (especially since 20 and 21 both are yar-har'd copies). Maybe my fears there are unfounded, though?

    Haha, I too only realised his name has more to do with drool than basketball after playing through a level named Dribble Fountain in the first Shantae game.

    I also recently realised that Mona is more Italian in the early installments than the supposedly Italian Wario, and that Dr. Crygor's name doesn't come from the real-life name Gregor.

    Well, according to Super Mario Wiki, it's a combination of cryogenics; a branch of physics concerned with extremely low temperatures, and Igor, the name of the stereotypical mad scientist's little assistant.
    But if I'm not mistaken, the Russian name Игор "Igor" is actually from the Greek name Gregorios, so it may still be somewhat correct what I thought.

    Edit: I looked it up and Igor is apparently of Norse origin, not from Ancient Greek Gregorios as I thought, so I was wrong:

    it is beyond stupid that my motivation to work on anything all but evaporates as soon as I'm done with school for the year. I want to work on my projects as I had been, but without having that "something I should be doing instead," my prior goof-off projects become "what I should be doing" and Nothing becomes "what I do instead"

    Sounds all too familiar. I too often struggle to find motivation for doing even the simplest things that aren't absolutely neccessary for me to make my life bearable, such as visiting Wario Forums for example.

    Though in my case the reasons behind it are much more complicated, and even I don't know why most of the time.

    Congrats on helping the Antonblast project come to life! How should we call those who donated?

    Antonblaster? Antonbacker? Backerblaster?

    Well, anyway I'm glad that there's a worthy successor to Wario Land now, and if it wasn't for the fact that I'm very short on money right now (inflation FTL), I'd happily back this already-awesome game too. :wariobomb:

    come to think about it, it may actually be for one of the mini-games, like the skateboard thing. but yeah i had made an FLP for it already, so I just exported it to mp3. Dynamics are kinda wild because I didn't do anything to it besides insert the proper instruments.

    It's almost certainly related to that 9-Volt skateboard minigame, that much I can hear. But do you know what 03E7 may stand for? I'm no expert on this stuff.

    Also, it's "Princess Peach", not "Toadstool". That term is something from ye olde days and virtually obsolete by now.
