Apparently there are a lot of artists who (eventually) up and fuck off when people either
A) steal their art or
B) break some other such rule put in place or wishes the artist expressed, in posting it elsewhere online.
A) is a little bit harder to combat against, but in the case of
B) you could avoid this by posting it on those other places yourself. In the end, the artist disappears, usually taking all of their art with them, and in some cases
pigmask colonel basically committing internet suicide. It's a goddamn shame that the shit happens (because stupid people ruin everything,
just by being themselves ), made worse when the victim caves, or decides to punish the majority for whatever bullshit was caused by the minority. Like, you may have the distribution rights, so to speak, but I honestly wonder how people who willingly deprive the world of art can sleep at night. The
what-if's,
could've-beens, and
should-be's in the artistic world, those expressions of yearning for something that is either fully or partially out-of-reach. Incomplete soundtracks, missing pieces to, uhh, those little foldy wooden stories like in God of War, glimpses at an art style that is for the most part out of commission, all that shit.
