He doesn't fit at all honestly. He's an anime styled character.

When I was little and had Mario Party 7, I always called Wario Luigi and Luigi Wario for some reason.

The naming varies often. In WarioWare Gold it's called the Wario Attack but in Smash Ultimate it's called the Shoulder Tackle.

Personally, I say Shoulder Bash, but GO! sounds pretty good too.

I second this. though I'd like to suggest Godot as well. It's the "hardest" out of the three but it's still pretty easy to use. Plenty of tutorials. Absolutely. They have a very good idea of who Wario is. They just need to revert the throw system to the way it was in 2/3/4 and it'll be all good. Also, no gimmicks.
