(ABANDONED)(DEPRECATED)(BAD TRANSLATIONS DO NOT USE) Developer Diaries Compiled

I was thinking about these translations over dinner, and it got me wondering... All this fecal fascination with Wario came about after Gunpei Yokoi's era had ended. Yokoi's last role with Wario was VB Wario Land in 1995. Likewise, Metroid was another series under his guidance and management, ending with Super Metroid in 1994, which he was immensely proud of. That series also changed after his departure (by a very stubborn and misguided Yoshio Sakamoto).

If this grotesque side to Wario really began with WL2, who officially penned it? And would it have become an official part of his character under Yokoi's rule? I wish I knew.

Could it be that Jimmy T has multiple personality disorder, and "Jimmy P" became a separate entity when the meddling curiosities of Dr. Crygor got their foot in the door?
I wouldn't put it past Crygor... He probably went to med school with 'good' old Dr. Gene Splicer (from Tiny Toon Adventures).

This might be something simple that might've flown over my head but does anyone know who "Mr. Yohitomi" might be? The name is all katakana so no help there.

That's what I thought since it would fit with the musical context. Perhaps the altered spelling is to slightly obscure the reference?

Also Dribble,Crygor, Orbulon, and Kat are left. Any preference for who to go through next?

It doesn't make all that much different since I'll be going through all of them but I figured it'd make sense to go with the demand.

I guess I'll go with Kat then and I think I'll turn it up a notch since the Japanese for their entries is so simple.

Just an update.
It's actually a bit more difficult than I anticipated to translate Kat & Ana's entries since it's written entirely in hiragana as to mimic the writings of children. Hiragana makes it easier to read but it can be difficult to understand for someone with a lesser grasp on Japanese such as myself as words can be ambiguous due to homophones.

To be honest, I don't really want to do this anymore. This project failed to get the kind of response I wanted. I was hoping to create something to garner some kind of attention on the forums that would also allow people to stick around. I was also hoping that it would also encourage people to help out in some way even if it means using google translate or something and just get the community involved. I mean I know that was a bit of a long shot and I probably ruined any sort of interest by exposing that I'm far from a capable translator. I wasn't realistically expecting the kind of response that unites people, but I was still hoping for it.

I still find it interesting but at this point it has become more of a chore. That being said I'm still intent on staying true to my word if finishing it.

Sorry to hear that the outcome for this has been so disappointing for you, especially since I know that I could have played more of a part, by at least trying to help out, instead of just thinking ''nah, I woulldn't be of help at all'' and leaving it at that.

Still, even if you feel like calling it quits before completion it was still a very admirable effort, you deserve a lot of credit for it.
