The Shake Dimension is a really good game. Syrup doesn't play a huge role throughout the game, but it's a really fun game regardless, and effectively captures the spirit of the Wario Land franchise. I really need to pick that game up again.

It's also interesting to note that Syrup has a yellow color scheme in this game:

I'd like to say that they are trying to emulate her Game Boy pallete, but I'm not 100% positive on that one.

I'd be lying if I said I knew about that! Certainly nothing about it on any wiki articles about Syrup, either. I like how this adds yet another colour palette to her collection. Well done for being one of the only fictional characters to change clothes every so often, Syrupy.

Hey that's a subliminal reference to Wario's attack in Smash where he grabs the opponent and punches them in the groin.

Best case scenario is Sakurai still cares about Wario and ran out of time to express it.
