[DEAD] Wario Land 3 Hack Project

I guess we can save "Current Powerups" error checking until I finish the Treasure Map
I actually have a list here of which treasures give you which power-ups, and an order of which treasures unlock which next treasures, so I was actually looking at that right now :)
 
FINALLY found a better way to go through these things :)
Also, I actually feel like we should change the Pocket Pikachu Treasure due to having our game feeling more original if we do that.

Well, I did want to put a Yellow GBC as one of the treasures. Maby we should replace the Pikachu with the GBC.

By the way, I would like one of the treasures to be an homage to the Donkey Kong arcade game

I'll leave the answer to that up to ShyGuy, he is the most well known Spriter among us, and he can probably answer to that with either something like: Yeah that's cool, something like this: "insert image here", or something like: I don't know, we would have to cram it in there, this is probably the best I can do: "insert other image here"

If a Pikachu can fit in a 16x16 slot, so can a GBC :)

I didn't mean a treasure graphic being an homage to DK. Sorry if anyone misunderstood, I meant the level design being an homage to level 1 of Donkey Kong Arcade

I thought you meant the treasure, well in that case: totally possible, but we need to find a way to put in challenge/ Wario Land 3 Gameplay Design.


Also: why does the game tell you to go to E3 Blue while you can't do anything there yet(when you get the Sun Fragments, I mean)
 
I have a theory that the game flow and treasure order was changed during development, and Nintendo messed up that cutscene.
It would explain the weird numeration of the east levels

It would be nice if Drenn, or another ASM hacker could fix that cutscene, removing the "go to the castle" from it.

As far as level numeration, it's also used in Best Times screen, so if we re-number the east levels in the order you unlock them, we'll need to do some ASM to the Best Times screen so the times are displayed correctly

Also:
In the Volcano's Base, the Green Fire Snake chest is in the Red Mine Cart chest area, and therefor requires the Grassland's Red Climb-The-Vine chest, containing minecart wheels inside.
Problem is, these chests are optional. I've seen players who didn't get the wheels, and then got lost looking for the snake.
Should we fix this, by putting the Minecart and Fire Snake in separate areas?
I'm pretty sure it would not screw up anything with The Temple's hints, as the game sends you both to the Red and Green chest only if you got the minecart wheels. If we put them in separate areas, the game still wouldn't send you to the Volcano's Base until you get the MineCart wheels, but... Since the treasures are optional, I think it's ok.

ABSOLUTELY ZERO MISTAKES IN THE POWER-UPS SECTION! CONGRATULATIONS, YOU WON NOTHING BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING! (But if I would have something to give to you I would give it)
