Got any specific examples?...a lot of people who try and recreate it...
So apparently when you get a huge combo in the barrel minigame (in the GBA version) this guy appears:

It's a skeleton sprite that's veeeery similar to the stalfos sprites from the first Zelda.
When you get a not-as-big combo a chain chomp skeleton (Dry Chomp?) appears:

And when you clear a lot of lines in practice mode Bink needs to take a break and eat a banana:

I wonder if any of these things are still in the 3DS version. Can anyone check it out? I don't have the game yet.
It's one of the best fanart I've ever seen in my life and I know? I commented on it. lolWhen you want something done right... well I said that already.
Whatcha think?
Nope. It's gone. I just checked. All 3 easter eggs are gone and replaced with NOTHING. Nought. Zilch. Garnix. That's a really interesting question to be honest. I'm curious about the exact same thing, especially given how I wrote about it in an article a while ago.

AND YOU CAN'T EVEN PLAY PRACTICE MODE ANYMORE!
What they call practice is just the tutorial again.
That's a huge shame since I loved playing endless practice mode. You could just sit back, relax and not have to think about a time limit or a high score.
It was pretty zen.
BUT NOW IT'S GONE!!! WHYYYYYY!?!?!
But why take out the practice mode? Not surprising. Unfortunately, it seems all the neat 'extras' the original game had are gone or toned down here.
Thank you very much! I'm glad people like them.Okay, you or someone should seriously consider doing a rom hack of the remake
With your stuff added in when it becomes possible, @ShyGuyXXL because all of these custom sprites you've been doing has been wonderful and honestly blows the remake's effort out of the water. (Even though a lot of it is not their fault and is simply because of Nintendo's current mandates and that's not saying the remake is bad by any means.) As you kept true to the charm and soul of the original game while at the same time, updating what's necessary.
Seriously, wonderful job!
