Only too true, only too true.

Someone pointed out tht they could do a digital only release to eliminate manufacturing costs, if nothing else. If I was uncertain, that's what I'd do.

But who knows if this will make any difference. But at least we can say we tried.
 
I mean I hate to show off how much of a cynic I am but as everyone already knows it's not about how much do people want something but how many people want it. Even with the RPG elements this doesn't look like the kind of game that would do to well. Even with manufacturing costs out of the way there's also the localization which looks like quite a bit could be needed.
 
You know, I wish game companies would do a kickstarter sort of thing to like gauge whether or not it would be feasible to localize something where people would show their support with money. At worst, they could at least show fans that they had an interest in localizing but it was just not financially feasible.

Gotta say the current artstyle transitions much better to 3D (if chibified) then I ever expected, it looks really nice.
 
I was about to say, I was curious as to which outfits of the girls were still the "main" outfits due to Tetris, Quest, and Touch muddying things up.
 
I'm more curious what Sig's outfit is going to be like this time around, since he changes so often, I'm assuming it's going to be the 20th look, but I'd like to see him keep his Puyo Tetris attire or even go back to the Fever 2/ 15th one.
 
It's looking like it'll be his 20th outfit. So far this is looking pretty good but the cynic in me is never fully optimistic. The fact that they overhauled the artstyle into a more detailed looking style after sticking to 2D styles for so long is a good sign but I guess it could all still swing either way.
 
I really wish we had some footage just to see how exactly the gameplay is going to work, it sounds interesting, but I can't picture anything concrete as of yet, althought I like what little we have seen so far.

I can also say that I do enjoy the artstyle and I'm excited to see how everyone else is going to look C'mon Sega, 3D Lagnus, you know, you want it as badly as I do
 
Which is made even better by the fact that the 3DS Project Diva had a Puyo Puyo bonus game, complete with Arle's and Satan's attires as unlockable alternate outfits. In fact, that makes it sound like a stealth preview of sorts.
