Except Ness doesn't have the courtesy to push you away when it hits you, so he can and will spam it far more incessantly than that.
Well idk if this would work because I'm playing a character with a counter and only certain characters have it. I generally do use a counter when a Ness spams pk fire as they'll always try to run up and grab you. Since my main is Lucina I try to just counter that way I hit them and mess them up when they come at me and it has worked plenty of times. Then again not all characters do have a counter.
Bowser's hurtbox practically takes up half the screen, so getting out of PK Fire is not a fun time for me. I have marginally more luck with Roy, but Roy also has to make hard reads to get his kills, and Ness simply isn't going to leave himself open enough for me to hit. It's a terrible time, especially when playing online makes reacting to my opponent's moves more difficult.

They did. The most recent patch consisted entirely of Bayonetta nerfs. And for some reason, it takes up a ton of memory.
