Oh yeah! So Ive decided to get back into n64, so yesterday I picked up Turok 2 and 1080 snowboarding : p

I like Turok 2 but I was honestly really wanting to find the first one first. But at least Ill have the second one ready to go.

I played the snowboarding game growing up cuz one of my brothers got it, and I remember liking it, so I picked it up too, haha.

after playing Turok 2 on PC I can't even imagine going back to the n64 version. even the bad first PC port is immensely more playable by virtue of having a framerate above the single digits and that saving is not bound to a tiny number of checkpoints spread over yuge mazey levels

I usually am not all that bothered by older graphics. I mean I know its the same graphics but improved, but after a few minutes or so I usually forget that its an older game and get lost in it : p

Had Turok 2 as a child I think I've said this before on another thread but it's just so big these levels don't think I got far. The robo dinos are annoying, hope you enjoy it more than I did.

Yeah, while not being a big fan of fps games, I actually am a big turok fan : p Theyre some of the best n64 games. The original turok was one of the first games we played when n64 came out, and we all really liked it, is way fun for a fps game : p

Think I was too young to fully enjoy it when I first played Turok. Certain FPS games are fantastic though like a lot of id games, my favs will always be the Prime series, Bioshock, and Golden eye on the N64.

Last night I found a copy of final fantasy 8 for only ten dollars, so I picked it up. I havent had much luck with ff games so far, but I didnt hate 7, just got bored from the story not progressing very quickly : p So I figured Id try this one since it was pretty cheap.

Hope I like it.

@Glowsquid is that a reflection of your hand on the bottom left corner of the alien case?

Also, I bought Diddy Kong Racing for n64 today, was super happy about that : p Its one of my most wanted games, so theres another game to cross off the list.

Haven't been doing too hot lately so to get stuff of my mind I snagged an assortment of rather random older games that I've been meaning to play for some time.

Ooh Nice, the DQ 4 remake on DS is one of my favs, and assuming you haven't played DQ it's a good place to start.
Never played ghost trick but the other games are good as well

Not the best picture, but I had this already, and I don't feel like taking another...
I got this from my mother for finishing my education. :D

I've really liked Yoshi's Woolly World since it came out, as I've listened to the soundtrack a whole lot (I even prefer it above Yoshi's Island, which is my second favourite SNES soundtrack). But now I am finally playing the game!
And it's amazing. ^.^

I found this game recently : 3 I loved this game growing up, and its still just as good now, haha.

Theres two modes to play here, and sadly the virtual mode isnt aa good as I remember. Its pretty difficult, so many moves/combos are just too difficult to pull off. Its still fun, but youre limited to simple attacks, so it would only be fun with another person.

SD mode is great, the controls are simple, anyone could pick it up and play. And its super fun as well. It also has some rpg elements, you can both win and buy equipable items that level up and evolve into better items. Its definitely the mode to play.

My little brother and I put alot of hours into this game growing up, hopefully Ill see him again so that one day we can continue our suzaku v ryuhi feud
