I finally ate something today.
i was messing with my controller, and there is literally no difference in aim assist, unless you count slight recoil control.

@pjparadox Did you rapidly presses the aim button while moving around? your crosshair need to be near a player model to detect if said model is a player entity. If it's near the entity, it'll slightly automatically aim towards it but not too much.
