Socially speaking, literature has had an impacts on the view of women and people of diverse ethnic backgrounds for the longest time. Fiction itself can propagate dangerous ideas. People like to say that video games are just video games, but times tells a different story. A movie may just be a movie, but Jaws lead to an uprise of sharks being killed out of fear due to their aggressive nature. So much so that the original creator dedicated entire books to trying to dispel the idea that sharks were dangerous to society as a whole.
I wish they were too, but alas, it is too late. Now video games have assembled a monarchy, and humanity has been lain waste to. We should have got gud while we could.

I personally think Sharknado is the most accurate depiction of shark behavior in history. Along with the Bee movie being the best movie about slavery and cultural appropriation.
