Sonic the Hedgehog Thread

I've got a great pc, I just can't get into pc gaming. I've bought some pc games, but I hardly ever play them. I'm not even sure why, but I play games on Atari ST more than on pc...

I don't know if this is true but i heard the new sonic games will be on NX. As much as i want that to be true there are a lot of false NX rumours out and about. Only time will tell.

This is how I watched the movie and honestly the youtube celebs being put in it is the least of its problems. The director made that Mega Man fan film years back but that oddly enough didn't have any of the same issues this has.

I also can't spot where Rolfe is. .-.
 
Concerning Fire and Ice though I gave up following it because Sega wasn't releasing any info on it and now that more stuff is coming up, I'm feeling better about it. I'm interested to see more.

Also happy my favorite characters aren't forgotten
 
Oh I forgot it also has brentalfloss and stuttering craig from screwattack now I remember why this stood out to me.

I honestly don't care for brentalfloss at all. He doesn't seem like a bad guy but I'm just not the target demographic for his stuff.
 
I still wonder what they were trying to get at with this weird frosted look for Sonic

Maybe just badly rendered sheen? Also the mouth really scares me.
 
Bad renders in general and a low budget most likely.

I wonder if Lebron (director) was also trying to give Sonic a look that was "realistic" and true to his usual form at the same time.
 


Someone uploaded a video of a trailer that has a few cutscene snippets from the game and an official trailer instead of splicing together clips from the cartoon.

It's in Japanese but there's nothing extremely vital. What isn't release date stuff and it saying things how Amy has a hammer is self explanatory from the game play and cutscenes.
 
I find myself having this weird love/hate relationship with Lost World.

The game play gets incredibly frustrating near the end due to poor design and that makes me hate it. Despite the Zeti being bland, despite the odd pacing of the story, the game play design choices, I can't help but want to love it for that.
