Upcoming Game Super Mario Odyssey (October 27th 2017)

You know what I hate? How absolutely not expressive Peach is.
No matter what happens to her she has the exact same blank expression on her stupid face, with only VEEEEERRRRY minor tweaks to her eyebrows. Peach, you're getting married against your will, SHOW SOME EMOTION FOR ROSALINA'S SAKE!

It's especially pitiful considering how expressive Mario is. Even Tiara is more expressive.

But this isn't new. She's been like this for a while now.

Makes me actually miss this Peach:

Yet another reason why I started to dislike Peach. I never understood why she became so emotionless. This can even been seen in the NSMB series when she gets resqued. Maybe they wanted a more calm, stoic Peach when Daisy became a regular to have a more defined contrast between the two. Or she grew cold and blunt after having been locked up for so many times.

My guess is they think if she changes her face too much it won't be a pretty princess anymore and thus not marketable...

It's sad, if that's the case.

I don't think that's the case. I mean, she has changed looks almost as much as Mario. And she looked decent enough until at least the Wii era.

I'm such an idiot, I accidentally edited your post instead of replying to it. xD Why can I even do that? xD Here's my actual reply:

Nonono, I don't mean changing over time. I mean changing her face as in moving her face muscles. Things like pulling the corners of your mouth down when you're sad, squinting your eyes, opening your mouth wide, any form of stretching, squashing, pulling, etc, is what I mean.
:SSmile: <- This... versus this -> SXD
:SSmile: This is a face fit for a princess.
:SGasp: This isn't.

It doesn't even have to be that cartoony. You can still show a lot of emotion with Peach's current animé-esque style. You just have to actually do it.

A sidequest in Odyssey involving a taxi driver from ND and a guy from Tostarena is filling in the Dribble & Spitz-shaped hole in my heart.

He takes him to the moon and all that too.

Yes. A quest that requires you to go throught multiple kingdoms in a specific order is exactly the kinds of things that make the world feel so interconnected.

Before I decided to go for 1,000, I had 140. Around a day later, I noticed Amiibos had way more than I did, so I brought it up to 350

I declared @Amiibro my rival, so after that he beat my record with 364. So, just today I decided it was time to break his record again with a good 1,400. We're still rivals, and wonder if Amiibs will destroy my record again.

Anyone else find it strange rolling into enemies damages you instead of them? They brought that over from the Wario Land series, but removed the attack aspect of it...

I'm somewhat worried about the thought of future generations being raised on bizarre Indian nursery rhymes.
