A potentially embarrassing topic hoho. So, are there any characters that any of you guys have ever felt something for? Note that I'm not speaking of characters that you merely find cute or attractive but if that's your reasoning go on ahead. This is actually a really painful and embarrassing topic for me to discuss but still I'll share one with you guys.

Witch from the Puyo Puyo series.

This was about a decade ago when I first discovered Puyo. I don't know why but for some reason I found this character really cute and appealing and just really struck a cord with me. Probably the first character I could say I had a crush on. For the longest time was one of my biggest favorites until my interest in Puyo waned and was revived back in around 2009. Even now remains a big favorite of mine and was very happy to see her back as a recurring character in the series.

Roll Caskett-Mega Man Legends

This was a very early thing, I was around 5 or 6 at that time and frankly this incernation of Roll is still my favorite one, but obviously I have out grown the crush.

It's been a while, but I do remember being really happy that there was a more active version of Roll then the classic one, who I also always liked, but this one is far more then just support that stands on the sidelines, heck, the game starts with her guiding you through a dungeon.

Generally speaking Legends knew how to make it's world inviting and likable and with Roll being your most important and constant ally I did feel a certain attachment to the character in a way I never felt before in a game, especially since this was one of the first more story driven games that I ever played.

It probably also helped that she's friggin' adorable and has a cool engineer theme, those are actually things I still love about her now. So yeah, not the deepest reasonings, but again, I was like 6 years old.
 
Rydia
When i played FF IV as a wee lad i had a personal love for the characters and Rydia felt like someone i grew up with at the time. (She literally grows up too). She was hot too. Looking back on it was kinda creepy during the first twelve hours when she was a kid but so was i. Definitely waned off over time.
I had two more but i can't remember at the moment
 
Morrigan hands down, she's the character that solidified my taste in chicks now.
Darkstalkers is an amazing and fun fighting game and when I first played it on the arcades here in the Pier Morrigan got my attention, a very beautiful succubus. Later on I would get to eventually play as her again in MVC1 for the PSX, after that I just got hooked on her character. A carefree succubus that doesn't mind getting into naughty or fun situations, living life the way she wants too. Having that kind of luxury seems very nice.

 
I remeber now, it's Linkle and Jessica
Linkle because personality preference and Jessica because 70 plus hours with an interesting female character = bone zone.

I dont really want to go too into it, though : p

And Ive never like been "obssesed" with a video game character in terms of having a crush, but like with games that have a dating sim (like the the game posted above^) I very much got into the dating part with the character I liked.
Ive always kinda frowned on becoming too into a character in that way, though. As its not actually possible to have anything with them for obvious reasons.

Heheh... Oh man I have unfortunately been there before but I won't say any more.
 
Speaking of dating sims, we used to own a few of those "1000 DOS games in one" disks for our computer back in the 90's. One of the random titles on it was a trashy dating simulator from 1994 called "Get the Girl" which used to disturb yet fascinate me. I always screwed up the questions and infuriated the girl I was trying to "get with". Heh.

It wasn't pornographic or explicit, just pictures of women in bikinis asking you cheesy dating questions. The demented bachelors were the funniest thing about the game.

Wario was everyone's childhood crush! If you try to deny it, you're definitely lying.
To those of you who are shy about it, don't worry! We all must learn to embrace our desires and love Wario, it's part of becoming an adult! Who doesn't want to be more like me, anyways? Right guys? Right?
