DAmn what do I need to take to have some of the crazy dreams you guys have. My dreams are either instantly forgettable as soon as I wake up or something unpleasant
I really don't know. I have noted that drinking and sleep deprivation both rise my chance of having a notable dream, but I wouldn't recommend either of them to dream well.
Not long ago I dreamt I was in a store that was having an everything must go sale. Among the items was a stand/container filled with ultra rare Wario plushes being sold at a bargain price. I turned away for a few seconds and they were all gone, so I screamed out in frustration and it was around then that the dream ended.
Had a WarioWare Gold dream today ;w;
For some reason, the final stage was altered. I don't clearly remebmer if other stages were any different, but instead of the final mix, the was an entirely new level called "Prove yourself". The upper menu screen for it was crowded by every character, except for Wario/Wario Deluxe, and the level image on the lower screen was blank.
In the intro cutscene, Wario Deluxe actually interacted with other characters. He laughed at them, stating that he's better at everything they can do. The crew was all like "Oh yeah? Prove it!", and Deluxe just stood there smiling. His last line was literally the name of the mix.
The game. Was. DIFFERENT.
It was a dance floor once again, but not the one from the previous mix. There were two characters, two game counters and there was no lives or whatever may have pictured them. Wario Deluxe was on the left, and Jimmy T. was on the right. It was some kind of a dance-off. I had to simply complete the first two games, and the third caused another character to jump on the screen challenging Wario Deluxe. Every third microgame was a duel of some kind. It was a game from the character's mix, but there were two playable character, and you had to do everything better than Deluxe's. If I lost in any game, I didn't get a score, but Deluxe did. Winning a third microgame was the only way to get a higher score. When I was winning by 5 points, second Wario in his usual Ware form rushed on the screen, provoking a battle with Deluxe. While the two were fighting, there was some kind of no-guide microgame rush. I suppose it was a boss stage, because there was no actual boss, not even a message, just a quick cutscene and some non-stop games on high speed.
There was no ending cutscene, the game just cut to the Story Mode menu, shifted to another screen to the right, revealing another stage. This time, there was no separated levels; instead, the whole lower screen was just black with Deluxe's red eyes and those eye rings, red as well for some reason. I couldn't try that out, becuase a relative called me. After that, I woke up.
The music was something like Body Rock, but with no lyrics.
For some reason, both Dribble and Spitz had those weird cheerleader pom poms. They didn't confront Wario Deluxe like the rest of duelling characters; instead, they danced with Jimmy.
Fronk wanted Deluxe to pick one playing card from three in his paws/hands. I absolutely hate how my mind can uncontrollably spawn ideas, while I can't make it do so.
While Jimmy's moves were pretty smooth, Deluxe was just spasming there, shimmering with gold.
Some of the non-duel microgames were new and somewhat abstract. Just cubes/colors/lines.
That new menu screen had no name, just "????" on the upper screen, and no voice line at all.
Last night I had a wwg dream. I was playing Orbulon's stage, which I play alot, cuz he da best. I did the boss game like 4 times if I'm remembering right, and then a bunch of different Orbulon voice clips that I'm assuming don't exist (can't open that Dropbox thing) played often. Most of them had him talking high-pitched in a different sentence, and they got my heart melting in the dream. Because his voice is so cute and it'd be cool to hear him saying more stuff.
Aaaand once again, I had another dream with a difference in Mega Microgames. In Orbulon's prologue, when he's being saved, there was much more to it. After going into that cylinder thing, it gets more... epic??? He grabs, and swings onto stuff on a... giant spaceship thing. A giant spaceship thing that the alien bunnies used instead of their little ship. Like some movie or whatever... I dunno. I don't watch a lot of tv or movies anymore. But yeah. Orb mostly rescued himself, actually. It was so cool cuz it was Orbs.
A bunch of other stuff happened, most that wasn't Wario-related. But @Sabby Brina appeared in it. She wrote a rap, (maybe Orbulon was mentioned in it but I can't remember) and someone on Youtube uploaded them rapping it out of nowhere. Sab gave big thanks.
I had a dream where Mario Tennis Aces included a go karting racing section but more balanced, you could destroy the track and boost pads with bob-ombs, the entire roster were wearing their tennis outfits. All I could see was Waluigi competing against a sniper on reaching the first place.
Later, I've opened my 3ds and Wario World 2 was on, but for some reason Wario's model was from Super Smash.
I dreamed once I was at an arcade and there were random Mario figures, including Wario, inside candy dispensers, except they were almost empty (there were only one or two figures in each dispenser) and they were stacked, like 50 ft high. The one I wanted had a HUGE Wario figure in it, but it was in a really high one. :( I remember just staring at it and wishing I could get it.
I have a lot of dreams where I just stare at crane games with rare anime or video game plushes in it and try to stick my hand in it and get one. I also stare at sticker dispensers that have large anime stickers in my dreams.
Edit: I JUST woke up and had another Wario related dream!
I dreamed me and Wario were a couple (<3) and we participated in a lottery/casino-like game where we had to play a certain WarioWare Minigame in order to win lotsa money, but it was a little different. It was like the Boss Stage in Touched where you had to draw a small line and make sure the little blob guy bounced on it to reach the moon, but this time it was a VR game where you LITERALLY HAD TO BOUNCE YOUR PARTNER OFF OF YOUR HANDS AND THROW THEM IN THE AIR THE HIGHEST TO WIN. LIKE IN REAL LIFE. IN FRONT OF A COMPUTER SCREEN (or at least near a laptop). Since Wario was the strongest, naturally he chose to be the one to throw me in the air. The game required an internet connection to play, and we were playing at my parents' house. Since my dad was stingy with certain things, he didn't pay much for his internet connection, (which is hilarious because this is exactly my true situation in real life) and the internet was currently down, so we had to play in upstairs in a small room with a low ceiling to get a decent connection. The top 12 scores would put your 3D avatar on a Mario Party-like board where the top 1 would get a chance to play a roulette that could win 12 million coins, or 12 million dollars. The hardest part about the game was balancing the players on top of each other and making sure you didn't drop your partner, or let your partner fall after a throw, because once you did, your score would go back to 0. Each successful bounce would slowly rack up the points, and the bounces would get higher and higher. The highest bounce would win the 12 mil dollars. We started to play and we practiced a lot. We were intense. The room was small and didn't have very good ventilation, so we started to sweat. We tried, and we failed, a lot. About to give up, I had the crazy idea of trying to throw him in the air. We had nothing left to lose, so he agreed. We actually did SO well after trying that, we got our highest score yet. We did so well that Wario agreed to try to throw me again, having a good feeling about it. We tried again. We got closer and closer to our high score. Then, something terrible happened. There was no more room in the room to throw me, and I touched the ceiling. "Not now!" I said, trying to balance on Wario's exasperated arms. "Wait!" I said, balancing on his arms before he prepped me for another throw. "Throw me through the ceiling! We have no time to lose. Just do it!" So, Wario, hesitant at first, runs back down the stairs with me on him, prepping for the throw, runs back up the stairs for momentum, and hurls me through the ceiling. My head popped up in the attic, where two large bats began to scratch and attack my face, giving me salmonella. (??) We ended up at the 12th place on the Mario Party Board, but only one person of the two actually appeared on the Mario Party board, and that was Wario. (I guess because I've never imagined what a 3D version of myself would look like) In 8th place was Mario, 7th was Luigi, and in 1st place was Waluigi. Who Mario, Luigi, and Waluigi's partners were I have no clue, but I remember hearing on the online voice chat for the game the story for how Waluigi got first place, and how he was a GOD at the game. I don't know if he actually won the roulette, though.
If you go to the post you can see the title in the next post.
I gotta get back into that dream. I'd like to see more. Cuz it's tiny little Orby in a somewhat nostalgic show. And I don't think his role in the episode was too minor, so yeah.
Last night I dreamt that there was a difference in Orb's WWG epilogue. It started with him not at Gigantaburger, and I probably not with hammies either. He was with a bunch of... guys??? Maybe they were in the government but I dunno. I kept watching the cutscene over and over, so I could remember it well in the dream. But I was a little sad that I remember less when I woke up. But I do remember that Orb went back to Gigantaburger near the end of the cutscene, but with no hammies.
I was watching a video like those showing what happens off-screen in 3D video games, but there wasn't anything 3D, it was Kat and Ana's WWG prologue. It was still 2D like normal, but it looked like the camera (?) was zoomed out. Then I saw some music video about Lulu. It wasn't action packed or anything. It just showed Lulu doing... simple things? And a layers of singers who sounded like they'd sing in an old cartoon, old as in before the 2000s, were singing about her and what she does in the video. I remember she was making some food that she called "Lulu [something]." I couldn't understand the "[something]" part. But in the video, before the song started, Lulu looked normal, and starting from when the song did going on until the end, she looked like a different person in similar-looking clothes. Then I woke up from the dream and fell asleep over an hour later, because I wake up early. I was in a kitchen that looked nothing like my real life kitchen. I wanted to make a bunch of toast, with each slice having a WarioWare character printed (?) on it. The characters who I wanted on my toast were actually in that kitchen, appearing 2D. Most of the Potluck Gang and Jimmy T. were there. Orbulon was there, wearing a blue sailor uniform (not a female one, a male one), holding the littlest little hammy who was dressed as a pirate. All of them were actually going into the toaster while being flat, along with my bread. They were even talking while being slowly sucked into the toaster. While that was happening, two versions of this movie song was playing, the real version and this unofficial version. More stuff happened in both, but they weren't Wario-related.
This wasn't mine, but my friend had a dream where Wario was on top of a building and then he looked down, then he just was flung (not by anything) off the building while yelling "YAHOOO!". He landed with a thud, then a long silence till the dream ended.
I remember having a little dream where Orbulon is a newcomer for Super Smash Bros Ultimate! I gotten surprised and confused because I believe iit won't be possible due to... reason unknown.
I dreamt about Wario games again! I was looking through my games and found a lot of games I hadn't even ever played, or only a couple of times! I remembered I bought them at Apeldoorn, but my image of the market was a whole lot different than it really was. :P It was huge, and not neatly organised, so you could easily get lost or miss a stall entirely. But because there were so many stalls I had bought way more than I should have.
Some of the games unfortunately had a very poor etiquette, but I considered that I should still be happy I bought them, as they were probably rare, as I had never seen the games before or since (heh). Among the games were: a different version of Wario Land II (not sure how it was different, but it was not one of the two existing cartridges), a game called Wario Land Adventures that I recalled booting up once after purchasing it, and containing both Wario Land II and Super Mario Land 3, but with extra challenges to be fulfilled (I guess inspired by Super Mario Bros. Deluxe), and a (still Game Boy) game called SNES Wario Woods. I hadn't played that one yet.
Last night I had a dream not about my Christmas presents, but about Wario Land 4.
I dreamt that 40 Below Fridge had a huge secret part that could only be accessed by breaking very specific blocks and doing some perfectly timed roll jumps. This secret part was almost as large as the regular part of the level, and was very cleverly interwoven with it.
Unlike the regular part, this secret part was not frozen and had an urban style, with platforms above shallow pools of water, but was still inside the factory building that houses the rest of the level. The regular Yetis were still in this part, as well as those rock-throwing apes from Fiery Cavern. It was also here that 40 Below Fridge's CD could be found.
After this, my dream became blended with unrelated personal experiences.
I had a dream where I was supposedly playing Mario Party 2 (as Wario, of course). All the characters were down on this circular platform in a huge expanse of water, with a few instances of tall scaffolding to the northeast. Spotlights shone up into the dark, overcast sky, the backlit water cast wavy blue, shimmering oscillations over everything, lighting everything above from below. I apparently had lost some minigame and cost myself the chance to win, but after the dream moved to first-person, I was told by someone that I believe was Toadsworth (my mind flashed me an image of Toadsworth upon hearing a voice over to my right) that I had the chance to win a "consolation prize" if I could fire out of this cannon up and onto the bridge of this inflatable platform thing-- it was buoyant and malleable, but think about it like a red and blue version of the Delfino Tower. I missed the shot, just barely, but was able to watch myself grab on and pull myself up onto the platform thanks to the nature of the slide's fabric, and, looking down once more, as a whole this place sort of looked like the final stage of a WipeOut episode.
Suddenly, the space fleet from the Sonic Unleashed opening appeared out of hyperspace and everyone started panicking. I wondered what I could do, since I was up high and everyone else was decidedly not, when suddenly we switch back to first-person. Waluigi was flying in from out in the large star-riddled void (aka the background in every Galaxy stage), buzzing along in the Tornado from Sonic Unleashed. Once I hopped on, we were flying towards what must've been one of the flagships. Those big red cruisers shaped like the Egg Carrier now lined the sky, and all-grey robots with lots of exhaust pipes and pincers, like those from that same opening, were flying around. I tried to spot something, but we passed it too quickly. I got mad at Waluigi, who was attempting to fly through the rectangular gap in the ship's hull (the cruiser that was so close to the ground was now working like one of the Separatist ships from the "Battle Over Coruscant" level of Lego Star Wars), and rewound time twice, but it could only rewind by about two seconds, so I could only get glimpses of what this large, shiny-red robot that I'd come to be persuaded was something to properly gawk at was shaped like.
From there, I looked out and saw the Bowser fleet from Mario Galaxy, off out in the distance where Waluigi spawned in from, and uhhh I think from there it derailed and went off to somewhere that didn't matter enough for me to bother remembering. It all looked really high-budget, like a Switch game or something in the case of the main characters, but for one reason or another I vaguely recall the Tornado still having its polygons taper in the places it did for actual Sonic Unleashed.
